On last night's channel 5 (Green Bay) news, the defensive backs coach said that 4th round pick Marviel Underwood will be a starter for the Packers someday--if not at some point during the season, then maybe next year. Sounds like a pretty strong endorsement to me. The battle for the two safety positions should be a lot of fun to watch.

Interestingly enough, I've read that Collins was picked to replace Sharper, and that he will also be starting sometime during the season. And I've read that Underwood has looked good at camp so far, making some decent plays. Although it is early and without the pads on, the thigns I am hearing about these two rookies are encouriging. Let the games begin!

That is encouraging. I've read alot about Underwood, some good and some not so good, so this is nice to see. Maybe TT's draft will look pretty good 3 years down the road and alot of people who critisized will have to eat crow.
