I watched this live and had one question. Why isn't he valued or praised higher by Packer fans? He's done a terrific job. The Packer's profits have never been higher, he just added on to the stadium and their record is great. The team is young and the franchise looks steady for the long term. Other then his first year (a lot of transitioning) the team has gone to the playoff's every year, went 15-1 and won a Super Bowl. Obviously, Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy have had heaps of praise thrown on them but where's the love for Murphy?

I don't think it's really a slight to Murphy, as much as it is he just stays out of the limelight. This isn't his team either, it's Harlan's. Harlan's imprint has been on the team since he took over as President in the 90's. He turned the team around, got the SB in 96, then got everything in place when he hired TT.
