Mike Sando, of the Tacoma News Tribune, reports Seattle Seahawks RB Shaun Alexander (foot) may be able to play during Week 4 after all. He is crediting the power of prayer for possibly healing the cracked bone in his left foot. His left foot stopped hurting Tuesday, Sept. 26, and Alexander plans to undergo additional tests Wednesday, Sept. 27. An MRI earlier in the week showed a small crack; if that has cleared up, it's conceivable he could play this week.

The only reason people notice this, is it happens to high profile players. And who gets on the cover of Madden? High profile players. You have to be good to get that spot in the first place.
Injuries happen to the lesser players too, it's just that no one notices or cares. They arn't in the "spotlight", so when they get hurt they just cart them off and no one makes a big deal.
Think about it......how many starting QB's in the NFL play their careers without losing games to injury? ONLY Favre has done that. So, if any of those QB's would have been on the cover of Madden, then got hurt, all these people would be saying "See? See??? It's the Madden CURSE!"
If Rex Grossman would have made the cover, how many people would have been blaming Madden for his woes? Alot, I'm sure.

it just so happens that when those "high profile" players are on the cover, that is the SAME EXACT year they get hurt...

Each and everyone there were a total of 8 i think...And only one didnt have majory injury and that was Lewis but he had one of his worse years ever..

Jason (Cleveland, OH): If EA Sports asked you to be on the cover of Madden 08 would you do it, even despite the Madden Curse?

Steven Jackson: No!

Steven Jackson knows....
