That is just the opposite of the talk out here in Metro Detroit. The Lions and their fans feel they are 2-3 players from being a playoff contender - and their desire was to try and land a couple or more big name free agents.

I hate the Lions...

They went out and got a few players last year. Corey Williams, Kyle V-B, Chris Houston, Bryant Johnson, Tony Scheffler, etc. I think they'll focus less on FA/trade this season. There are only so many outside bodies you can bring in and convert, you can't continually make splashes, I think the Lions are pretty content with what they have and will focus on the draft this off-season.
