just because the packers are better than the vikes does not mean you should keep hateing on the packers.

i know how it feels when you team loses 85% of the time to the packers. :)

I'm not even a Vikings fan and I'll admit they're better than the Packers. Look guys, there no shame in sucking for a few years until you get back on track. Just admit it and move on. A few of you are starting to grasp how badly the Packers will blow this year and I say, "KUDOS!!!" to you gentlemen and lady (4packgirl).
Just admit that your team will most likely blow this year and move on. Take it like a man - or in the case of a few of you, woman.
You guys had your moment in the sun, but it's over. The sooner you admit it, the sooner you can move on and look forward to getting the #1 or #2 draft pick in '07. At least now college football is more exciting for you guys.
And please sign another injury-prone CB for 40 million, too.

"It's not easy, but I enjoy doing it. Do I enjoy losing? No. But I enjoy the challenge of competing every week. I'd love to think we're going to the Super Bowl, but we have to worry about winning a game first." - Brett Favre

Packers | Favre says team running out of time to improve
    Wed, 30 Aug 2006 15:39:44 -0700

The Associated Press reports Green Bay Packers QB Brett Favre said he and the team are running out of time to work out the kinks in their new-look offense. "It is preseason. Call it what you want," Favre said. "But you'd like to be able to gauge something off these games, and I don't know. I really don't. There's a lot of potential, but that in itself doesn't get it done." After the team's last preseason game, a 48-17 loss, Favre said he heard "numerous people" saying that it's better to get mistakes out of the way during the preseason, a bit of long-standing NFL logic that Favre doesn't necessarily buy. Favre said he did see some positive developments after reviewing game film of the Cincinnati loss. The pass protection was improved, he said, and rookie OGs Jason Spitz and Tony Moll played well. Asked whether he had thought about the possibility young players might not hit their stride this year, Favre said, "It might not be. What do you want me to do, quit? You're asking me this question, I'm well aware of it. Are you saying that it's not worth it? All his concerns aside, Favre said he still enjoys football.

Actually I do not hate the Packers, I like to refer to it as "Spirited Dislike" :D

As to losing to the Packer 85% of the time, the regular season record as of 2005 stands at 44-44-1.

wtf? Why are you forgetting the Pistons? They have been a model franchise the past 5 years and have won 3 championships since the late 80s. I understand that its easy to be self-loathing as a lions fan, but don't hate on the other great franchises the city has.

No need to save the card PackerChick, there will be ample opportunities for me to send you more this season. I will send the best ones when the Vikes spank the Pack!

Hmmm...... I notice that both of your posts were prior to last nights game
You lost to the freakin' Titans. :D No need to tell me about starters vs 2nd/3rd stringers.

Yes, you can relish the Packers past accomplishments, as it should be.

You are living in the distant past.
Your recent past, present, and near future look very bleak indeed !

Geez....talk about "The mouse that roared!"
Oh....and lets see........you said OUR "recent past, present, and near future look very bleak indeed !" Hmmm........HOW many Super Bowls have the Vikings won again???Or even BEEN in? Lets see.....oh yeah! Last time was 1977! Almost 30 years ago! You don't even have a RECENT past to look back on! It STILL is funny getting smack from a team that has YET to win any BIG games! 8)
Oh, and the first string "O" looked pretty good the 2 plays they were in. It DOES matter which string was playing on the field. The Titans had their first string "D" on the field most of the game. So i'm not at all upset at the loss.
Bring on DA BEARS!!! :D

Re: Last years 4-12 looking pretty good, huh guys

Gotta make this short cheesey, going golfing. I have been contemplating
gettting some gollf tees with a Packers logo on them. That way when I tee up with my Viking logo golf ball, I can watch the ball soar to great heights and distance, while the packer encrusted tee flops aimlessly end over end for a very short duration.
    :D

I seriously think we will do better then last year, suck we will NOT do, how can you suck when you have Brett Favre on your team?? NOT!!! Even if we loose games, it is still fun to watch Favre fire away to try and win. NEVER underestimate Favre!! At least we have one player we can count on, who do the Vikings have? NONE>>>>The Pepper and the Moss is no longer there..

As the VIKINGS golf ball gets within ONE inch of the hole, and "self destructs!" Blowing up into several minute useless pieces! The golfer gathering them together, all the while muttering "I'll put you back together for the NEXT hole! THEN we will see who is laughing!" And the PACKER tee gets back up and is ready for the next attack!
