    I'm not worried that he'll make the Lions that much better, I'm worried that he's going to take Javon's head off with his reckless play. The guy's been fined nearly 100K over the last 4 years.

    JD - the usual conversation about the Detroit Lions is... that since they always have the Thanksgiving Game at their House - then THAT's "their" SuperBowl....

    Especially since they've never actually been to the SuperBowl....!

    Amazing to think about it - the Vikings have been once with Fran Tarkenton as the QB - but since they've built the MetroDome...uh-huh - hasn't happened... and the Lions.... well.... who knows...., maybe that'll change with Steve Mariucci as the HC. That's one thing they've never really had - is a --- GREAT COACH! Remember, da Mooch is "packer-trained"... so, he comes from good stock!

    I would rather see the lions go,than the vikes. But until the QB is settled I do not see them going to far,maybe a .500 season. JMO But I like their coach.
