With 8½ sacks through seven games — tied for the NFL lead with suspended San Diego linebacker Shawne Merriman — Aaron Kampman goes into the Green Bay Packers’ final nine games with a target number in mind for his season-ending total.

But as the Packers’ defensive end stood at his locker Wednesday afternoon, he wasn’t sharing that statistical goal with anyone. There’s only one person he’s shared that number with.

“My wife,” he said.

So what is your guess on Kampman's sack goal for the season?? My guess is >13 sacks, whick would be double his total from last season.

Every time I looked up I saw Kampman wreaking havoc on the Bills.. even when he didn't get the sack or the tackle, he was involved, at least from what I saw. This guy is great.

Maybe he will have 22 going into the Bears game, and Grossman will call a naked bootleg and go down to give him the record.

Now calm down... I did not say Brett did that on purpose. I have no idea.

But I am glad Strahan got the record becuase Gastineau I did not like and his mullett did not belong in the record books.

Obviously I didn't make the point of the thread clear. It wasn't to guess how many sacks Kampman will get. Rather it is to guess what was Kampman's GOAL for sacks coming into this season. From the article, there are only 2 people who know the goal, Kampman and his wife.

I guess we will never know what the goal was THAT HE SET FOR HIMSELF.

I only hope that he put that goal in writing.

I only hope he broke that goal down to the number of sacks he needs per week to reach that goal.

I only hope he looks at that goal "That Is In Writing" every day.

If he did and does that..... He has a 1,000th times better chance of achieving that goal.

A goal is just a wish or a dream until it is in writing.

I know about this stuff.... You have to learn the dance.

It is a dance called the RUMBA.

make your goals...

Realistic. Understandable. Measurable. Believable. and Attainable.
