    It is being reported that the Jets have reached agreement on a long term contract with Branch.
    There has been no agreement on compensation for the Pats however.

    It is being speculated it is a 6 year, $36 million dollar deal. Don't know about structure or guaranteed money. All that said....Dion Branch and $6 million a year is kinda hard to reconcile. Nice receiver.....not that nice. Desperation move??

    No...it simply means that Branch is not worth that kind of money. You know, TomAllen, when you "reconcile " yourself to that fact that others may harbor a different opinion than yours, the world gets a whole lot better.
