A wasted month. If he was going to go under the knife it should have been then. We have to keep another open roster spot so he can get back on the field in Week 16. Could be too late to make a difference by then. ARod needs his receivers. With Jennings, Nelson, and half of Finley out this puts a lot of pressure on the OLine and Rodgers.
Add to the fact that we have no running back and it makes it even tougher than 2010.

they are projecting now a 3 week recovery. Possibly in time for the Giants game.

I haven't inquired who is doing the surgery but I would assume its Dr James Andrews.

Greg Jennings fits his schedule around James Andrews. Not the other way around.
Yeah, I kinda figured it was something like that.

Any ideas how they find these Drs?
Is Andrews the only one in the country who can do this?
Wouldn't there be another specialist in, say, Chicago or even Milwaukee?
Or how about the Mao Clinic which is also nearby in Minnesota?

There is another doctor that's close to James Andrews that lives in Florida. As far as someone close I'm not aware of anyone world renown.

I wouldn't trust someone from Minnesota with Greg Jennings. They can work on Finley tho

Which is why we shouldn't take any game for granted even if it's against the Jags at GB.
I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't a blow out by the Pack. I expect it to be closer than others think it may be.

Right. They might give him breast implants or make it so that the only job he could get would be cheerleader. LOL

He will be back in about 3-4 weeks smh. Way to many guys pulling hammys and groins. Who the heck is the strength and conditioning coach? and how are these guy's stretching and warming up? When i was in college we went three yrs without having a single guy pull a hammy because we took warmups and stretching very seriously. When our strength and conditioning coach took another position then someone pulled a hammy...we need to hire that guy.

I had a book on stretching written by a guy who claims he used to work with the Broncos.
One main thing he strongly suggested was DO NOT BOUNCE when stretching.
I see players bounce or moving around during their stretches in the pre-game footage.

Glad you pointed that out because we NEVER bounced in any stretch we did. hmmmm?? makes me really think now. These guy's are not strecthing properly because to have a guy pull a hammy every flipping week is garbage.

Out of all the games I have been to, we have gotten there really early. We like to watch them warm up. To me, I see a lot of just tossing the ball around and some small sprints. I did see some stretching, but 10 min. at the most.

Maybe these guys think that since they are in good shape they don't need to stretch. Think they may need to do 20 min. of yoga in the locker room.....

Greg Jennings was scheduled to undergo sports hernia surgery for a torn abdominal muscle in Philadelphia on Tuesday, but coach Mike McCarthy said Monday it was postponed because of the superstorm on the East Coast.

"Exactly when he will go? That has not been determined yet," McCarthy said.
