How could this guy get only 2 passes throw his way, and no catches?

We had 5 three&outs Sunday.
We scored on 4 possessions.

I feel that Jones is too good to be forgotten.

Did we look at Cobb, Finley, and Nelson too much?

Were the Niners focusing on stopping Jones?

Wish I had the film to answer it, but we shouldn't go 3&out that many times with this QB.

From what I remember he was well covered. The couple targets he did get, he was smothered out by the defender. Maybe they put more stock in J.Jones due to his performance last season....oh well, nelson had a damn good day and so did cobb.

He drew the coverage. He's our most polished WR. Cobb is the most explosive. They had to shut down one of them. Just like the openers in 2011 and 2012, Jones will get it going again

I agree that the Redskins will get a heavy dose of James Jones. The 49ers covered him really well because they got torched by him last season. They didn't forget. Just when teams forget about James Jones is when he will burn them up.

Anyone still worried about James Jones?
Not worried about him, but my little 10-year old yesterday, perfect example.
My son's team won, but he got no balls thrown his way, even though he was wide open a bunch of times. And even though at least twice our good QB got picked off forcing balls to his favorite target.
My kid didn't miss a tackle, but didn't get a ball thrown his way... boring game for him, no action. Not fun.

He was sulking in the car right away, all day.... I kept telling him the THERES NO I IN TEAM.... also told him we WON.
And if he wants to play an INDIVIDUAL SPORT instead, there's always tennis and golf, which I love both. Golf not a real sport, but tennis is.

There's always next game!
Celebrate wins no matter who got the stats.

Could you let me have the Euromillions lottery numbers for this week by any chance ? ;)

Maybe a late response here, but a guy who had like 70 catches and 15 TD's last season, I think defenses are going to be more inclined to pay special attention to someone like that.

His fumble that hit the pylon was a weird deal. Never seen that happen before.

Yep, that guy was one of the defensive leaders for the 'Skins on Sunday.

In other news, there was a jersey rush at the Redskins pro shop on Monday.

(OK, even I feel a little bad about that one.)
