    Thanks for the link. Field position on kickoffs is a stat that you hardly ever hear, while everybody talks about return yards. It's so stupid. Kick returners always get bad stats against kickers with weak legs, because they do not get all those "free" yards from deep in their own territory at the beginning of the runback. But what matters is not how far they run with the ball, but what yard line they end up at.

    Return yardage is so irrelevant that it should not even be a statistic. Kick returners should all be measured by the average starting field position that they earn for their offense.
