The season is over for us.
What else are we going to do?
    Oh I know.
I'll start yet another thread on how the future looks bright.
Or maybe another one on Matt Flynn and what the best deal is the Packers can get out of him.
    Oh wait. Scratch those two.
I'll start another thread on how bad the Packers defense was this last season and speculate on what it was this time.
One of the players lost his lucky penny while another forgot to kiss his picture of Vince before going out there against the Giants.

    *SIGH*
Life without Packers football just plain sucks.

I like the Patriots much better than I like their (largely...with exceptions, of course) arrogant fanbase.

You should not even like them. That organization is full of cheaters since say 1. And Kraft builds up this Myra Kraft thing every week to get sympathy. Hey at least the Saints IMO never talked about Katrina. The media did not them.

You think Robert Kraft is using his wife's death to get sympathy? Really?

I don't know what "full of cheaters" means...can you enlighten me? I know more about Spygate than the average person (best friend is a Pats fan, I've heard both sides), I remember Jay Glazer (your basic New Jersey/New York guy, so...) trying to suggest they trip people on the sidelines (but I swear I could not see it on his video "evidence") but beyond that...? Is there something I don't know about?

I would not even know where to begin.

Just believe me. I mean you can like them if you want it's fine. I am just saying I know shady stuff has gone down with them since 2001. They also got caught and lots of evidence I heard was destroyed.

Honestly they often gave me the creeps like the Steelers.

The refs have given the Steelers games before and we have seen it. Hell they tried to help the Steelers v. the Packers in the SB. The Tuck rule was the biggest BS call in history vs. Oakland. Today the refs took away two Brady picks.

I can still remember in my head the refs handing the Steelers a trip to the SB over the Colts in early 1996.

    **** these two teams.

Sure the refs tried to help GB and they did against the Giants. But, it did not cost the Giants the game.

With the Pats/Steelers they are often calls that make the difference between a win and a loss.

I had no idea what that MFK or whatever it is on their jersey stood for until the announcers mentioned it today.

Then again someone once asked me if it meant MLK and they got the letters wrong.

They've been wearing those patches since she passed away. I think she was pretty close to the team, actually. (Edit to add: SnowPlow tells me the team decided to dedicate the season to her, hence the MHK patches...after one TD today, Benjarvus Green-Ellis pointed to his patch running off the field.)

This is not at all personal for me (just want that to be clear - I think you're one of the coolest people here, and I hope the back-and-forth isn't too frustrating for you) but I really need more than "just believe me" to change my opinion, if/when you ever have a minute to explain this in more detail. I know the big charges against them, I've heard their defense, and what I know currently, it just seems like people are shadow-boxing a little bit because they just win too much and people hate them for that reason.

I promise I'll keep an open mind if you have something. I know Spygate tapes were destroyed (if that's what you're referring to), but the situation hasn't changed much since then...they still win, under the microscope I would presume the League has had on them since.

All right all right I'm sorry. Just how I have felt at times and from what I have heard from out yonder in NE land.

But, I don't need a sob story since I usually can't stand em. In fact a bigger sob story to me might be Eli's brothers future and how in doubt it could be in Indy or in general. If Peyton's career is over too soon do to his neck then **** my life.

He is right that NY Giants saved Green Bay Packers an embarrassment. NY Giants ate only team in NFC that is able to beat New England Patriots in SuperBowl.

This is the era of Eli Manning. He will bring more SuperBowl Championship trophies to NYC where they belong.

NY Giants will pass up Green Bay Packers in SuperBowl victories next season. I am not worried about pre SuperBowl era.

The reality if current times us that this NY Giants team is better than your Green Bay Packers team and Eli Manning is better than Aaron Rodgers.

Didn’t state that I ignored pre SuperBowl history, only that I am not worried about it. Big difference.

I don't understand how you are going to get pissy about stuff being posted in the "smack talk" area.

The bottom line is the New England Patriots guy is right. Their QB is head and shoulders above Aaron Rodgers just like Eli Manning is head and shoulders above Aaron Rodgers. NY Giants are the only team New England Patriots would have lost to in SuperBowl. Green Bay Packers would have been anhilated.

NY Giants didn't destroy Green Bay Packers in playoffs because Green Bay Packers had a bad day. NY Giants dismantled Green Bay Packers because NY Giants are the better team.

Eli Manning owns you. Eli Manning will continue to go into Lamveau Field in the playoffs and will continue outclass Aaron Rodgers.

Eli Manning is the best QB in NFC.

Tidy-Bowl-Blue-Men vs Packers record for 2011 season: 1-1
If the TBBM are as good as you claim they are, then why did the Packers give them a last second scoring winning drive smack down?
Where the F was the Tidy Bowl Blue D-Fence to stop Aaron Rodgers?
Why didn't Eli boy run up more points on the Packers poor D-Fence?
    In their own house?
    No excuses.
    None.
    Zero.
    Nada.
    Hah!
    You are OWNED.
Now go to the back of the room and sit down and shut up.
