Chi Coltrane was rasied dirt poor in Racine, Wisconsin but she played piano and sang blues and gospel based pop-rock-soul with the best of them. This 1973 performance showcased Thunder and Lightning.:cool2:

Outside of John Mayer, Kanye West is my favorite artist. Also love Jay-Z, Kid Cudi, and The Roots.

So, you aren't alone, but we're a rare breed here.

Weird to say after trying to prove my hip hop cred, but right now i'm listening to the Where The Wild Things Are soundtrack, which is literally all indie folk music.

I'm not a huge hip hop fan, but I was really into rap in the mid 90's. Wu-Tang, NWA, Hieroglyphics, Jedi Mind Tricks.....the only real contemporary artists I like are Talib Kwali, Common, and Mos Def.

Not music, but i'm listening to Brewers/Cubs spring training action.

Brewers.com if you're interested, though i'm listening on the MLB At-Bat app on my iPod Touch. That app, by the way, is the greatest thing in the history of the world.
