    TT may not admit it but I would hope he at least is looking at a couple of these guys just in case. Barring anything else Newhouse should be ready for pre week 2. If Sharrod is on the pup list then he'll be out a few weeks. Gotta keep # 12 verticle.

    Yeah as ugly as signing a FA may sound to Thompson he might have too. Keeping Rodgers blindside safe is important and with Newhouse being injured/young/inconsistent and Sherrod being injured for the start of the season I think Marcus Mcneil as a fill in for at the very least depth for the first few weeks would be good. Datko hasn't looked good so far either so yeah.
