mineral - what part of "injuries not being an excuse" did you not understand?? i even said it twice for you so there wouldn't be any misunderstandings. i guess you've got me confused with other packer fans who can see no wrong with their team & feel the need to make excuses for a poor season. i don't think that way. we stunk it up, but good! do i think injuries contributed to that? well sure i do. is that some sort of an excuse?? i don't think so. :-?

now go suck some of those donkey balls you seem to be so preoccupied with, k??  & just to make myself clear - i'm joking about the donkey balls thing!!! :p

umm... green isn't exactly young, dude. And what's this thing where he's out of games and stuff? Oh yeah, that's injuries.
    Henderson - same deal.

Green sucks. I saw a lot more potential and talent when Gado was playing. Gado runs harder and fumbles just a little bit less. If I were a Packers fan I would want Gado to be the starter. All of their RBs are coming back from serious injuries (kinda scary for the run game). :(

I meant that he was Mr. Old. Nice try.
You're trying to hard to find mistakes now.
I said green was old and injury prone. but i meant to say that henderson was also old.

trying "to" hard to find your errors? yeah, its as hard as finding a fat chick at the beach.

Green averaged 50-60 yards in the 2 or 3 games he played in last year. He had lost a step. The injury is probably not going to get that step back for him. Henderson is a stud. The funny thing about Henderson is that he probably deserved to go to the pro bowl for 5 years, but never made it. Then, as his skills are diminishing, he gets a charity gift and makes it. Running the ball is 80% line play and 20% running back. We should be comparing OLines.

no. Green was playing (pretty seriously) hurt actually (which pisses me off. if ur not healthy enough to go full speed, dont hurt the team like that).

I agree. Whatever their names are, two starting rookie gaurds is going to spell trouble in the NFCN. Period. It doesn't matter who's not injured this year or what new blocking scheme you've installed, you're really just spraying perfume on a turd. Davenfart is going nowhere and I'm still on the fence about Gado, although even packers fans aren't so high on him.
Green is aging and injury prone. Henderson is old. And I just can't see this group that was so highly sought in free agency (sarcasm) making an effective running game behind two rookie guards. I'm sorry, it's just not going to happen. Plus, there are some premier pass-rushers in the NFCN and I don't think they'll be able to keep Brett's uniforms as clean as they were in the past. All in all, looks like you're in the same boat as last season.

His poor productivity was due to his injury the prior season that never healed and finally gave out during the middle of the next season. Hence why the injury was so severe.

I don't know how you say Henderson got a charity gift PB appearance, but its your opinion so we'll leave it at that.

"Driver has been over 1000 yards every season he started"
That's like saying Driver has gone over 1000 yards in every season that he went over 1000 yards. Dumb!

Keep telling yourself that Urlacher and even Briggs are over rated. How many coaches in the NFL would pick Barnett over either one of them?

A Bears player makes the pro-bowl every year and he is over rated. A Packers player has 2 or 3 decent seasons and no pro-bowls and he is god's gift to football. That must be the reason why the Packers are being picked to finish last again this season eh?

Why do you silly people talk out of both sides of your mouth?

Ok, Hendo is old. So judging by this the Bears have no WR because Muhammed is old? Oh wait no Tackle cause Fred "False Start" Miller is old. Ruben Brown is out to cause he's old as well. Those guys are all FINISHED by your way of thinking.

Oh wait......it gets better. You called Ahman OLD as well. So this must mean the Bears starting TE is OLD. Brian Griese is OLD. Olin Kruetz is OLD. John Tait is OLD. Not to mention Thomas Jones and Brian Urlacher are only one year behind Green in age, so they must be OLD as well.

But yeah, I Know Ahman missed a portion of last year because of injuries so he's injury prone. So I guess that makes Urlacher injury prone, Muhammed,Mike Brown, all injury prone. On top of that Grossman would be considered retired.

Judging by your thinking we should be a lock for the division title. It's not because we are any great but it seems the Bears whole team is OLD and INJURY PRONE, the Lions have Matt Millen, and the Vikes have Brad Johnson starting.

Your selectiveness is amazing. It's hilarious to see Bear/Lions/Vikes fan twist everything to fit thier arguments.

i MET kevin butler many years ago - kissed me on the cheek. i told him i was a packers fan & he said jokingly, "shouldn't have wasted that kiss, huh?" i told him i'd be happy to wipe it off so he could give it to someone else - that got a chuckle out of him!! as i recall, he was a short little guy - even trommy could take him!! :)

Oh, and by the way (getting back on topic a little bit anyway), Green was basically getting hit as he took the handoff last year. The O-Line was atrocious at opening holes early in the season. I don't really blame the injury or anything on Ahman for last season. If the O-Line gets it together in TC, the Bears and their fans will find out that Ahman still has "it".
