When you stop being so sarcastic, I think it might happen soon!

Yeah it's unheard of. I can't believe I stated that after all that Ted has done to improve this team like signing Frank Walker while we barely have an NFL calibur RB on our roster. Oh wait, we could still land Kevan Barlow!

I am such an idiot, how can I not see his undying commitment to giving Brett the weapons he needs. Nothing like starting 2 rookies on the O-line and another at WR. Need I forget Brandon Miree!!!

Yep, he is all about winning. If thats the case he sure as hell is failing

I dont mind having a civil debate bout this all, but this comment is full of sarcasm..

I told you what I thought they were doing with the cap space..

If you want to ask me a specific question go ahead I will answer..But I am not going to play a game of when did they sign the guys

AHHHHH Pyle did I say in my post that you have no right to criticize? No I dont think I did.

I disagree with your bad arguements that just because you dont see TT dropping 80 million on a guy that he is stagnant anddoing nothing to help this team improve.

If what I say is silly what you say contains the same silliness in the inverse.

What I think is silly is you are ready to hang TT based upon no information. The 2007 season has not concluded yet to determine whether or not what TT has or has not done will or will not work.

This team could just as likely rise to superbowl contender as it could fall on its face. The amount of factors that determine a successful season or a failing one are staggering.

Putting TT a career manager and Matt Millen in the same ilk and or sentence is not fair to TT. TT had one losing season in his tenure as GM how many has Matt had. TT found a good player with the 5th pick in the draft. How many number 1's has Matt had??? How many have panned out???

Pyle bottom line is while you are trying to have an argument about whether or not TT is a good GM you strain your credibility by throwing out venom. You have to have some substance in your argument. For many of us not blinded by pure hatred of one persons management skills, We can objectively look at what TT is and is not doing.

I agree that the lack of movement is frustrating it is likely the best way to go about it.

We still have the draft, too. Yeah, we don't have a RB worthy of carrying the load. But there's some available in the draft.

As far as commitment to Brett's need for weapons, I haven't heard him once say anything along the lines of "we have to give our HOF QB a chance to go out on top". I know that that is the prevailing sentiment with almost every Packerfan, but it just isn't what TT's plan is.

I believe you did make referance to San Frans signing of the CB for 80 Million dollars.

but it was a general statement. Sorry if I misrepresented your argument

You dance way too much man, Your original comment was "you really don't know do you, LOL" Who's sarcastic now?

Then you state you don't even know whats going to happen. Is that not an EXTREMELY hypocritical follow-up to your SARCASTIC statement?

You told me what you THOUGHT they were going to do as if they HAVE done it.

When they do it, tell me about it.

I want Moss to, not because I think he's anything near what he was in Minnesota, but because at least that does something to improve the team. However, there were seemingly alot more important holes that TT did not fill, and the market is dried up now. I know TT will fill them with rookies, how exciting. The nice thing about having a young team is at least we can state "these guys have potential" year after year, similiar to the Cleveland Browns.

No it wont screw the team in the future....Some of us just dont want to wait another 20 yrs. from our last SB appearance like we did before....With TT thats what we are doing.....Geez I guess will just wait 20 yrs. like we did last time after SB I&II until another Favre comes along....TT sucks!

You did, but then again so does everyone. I have NEVER said we should have signed Clements.

I want Ted to upgrade the team, period. I don't care about potential, if's, and's or but's. I'm sorry, but we have lost Green, Henderson, have no threat at TE, and Manual is a disaster and the best thing that could happen now is if we landed, and subsequently overpaid, Moss.

I really don't want to see a rookie toting the ball 25 times a game, and I sure don't want to go through another year of terrible Safety play and TE's who couldn't catch a cold.

Thats what I worry about Ref. The scary thing is all the excuses that were made in those 30 years are the same excuses I hear people making now.

    "Building a foundation"
    "Too early to tell"
    "Wait til next year"
    "If this guy pans out"
    "We have a young team"

You will be hearing that for awhile

    I couldnt agree more.....

I am going to be the first to say it and you can take it to the bank....If we make no other moves this offseason, and play with the team we currently have we will be a below .500 football team. After this season I hope all the TT supporters dont act like was some big surprise, face it no established RB or running game... Even last year we were sketchy....Get ready is all I can tell u .....

PS: Peeps better hope this doesnt happen b/c I will refer back to this thread 100 times a week just shoving it in the TT supporters face!

Ted haters will never understand how others feel and see things..

Last year we heard all the same stuff...And no one thought this team was going to even sniff the playoffs. I sure as hell never thought they would have been that close..

Every one has their own VALID points, but niether one will "switch" sides RIGHT NOW..

Totally not true.......I have never approved of TT, but last year everyone thought we would be a better team than the year before....WE were getting Ahamn back, added Hawk to our D, and the line gained experience...

This year is a totally different situation.... We have no credible RB, and as much as everyone rants on how talented these guys are, they are unexperienced and unproven....Also with this lack of running game people are going to double Driver and force brett to go Elsewhere...

Point is, this is a totally different situation....I did feel last last year we should have made more moves, but I didnt think it would be vital....This year the need for moves are VITAL!!!!!!

I didn't think they would, and at 8-8 they shouldn't have. If they would have beaten some decent teams I might feel a little better but they didn't.

However, I can't look at that 8-8 team and not think they have took about 2-steps back. They have done NOTHING to improve, nada, zero, zilch.

Granted there is time but I don't no how you can fill so many holes with rookies and scrap-heap players and expect to improve

I agree no team should get in at 8-8.....If it had been any other season it would have been different....An 8-8 team is a mediocre team at best...

    Directed to others, not pyledriver:
Also everyone feels our team is so poised with internal talent to make a run at the playoffs.....News for ya, there were tons of teams right on the brink of getting into the playoffs going into the last game of the season....Of all of those teams we have done the least to improve our chances..So what makes u think we'll be the ones getting in? I certainly dont up to this point unless we make some moves!

Seriously, is using bigger, bolder print supposed to make us take your point to heart? Honestly, we can all read the normal print just fine, and resizing is just obnoxious.

Look, the whole idea of internal, improving talent is that you don't pull from outside the organization to improve. That's the entire concept! What makes 'everyone' believe we'll be the ones getting in is alot of this: we haven't drafted yet.

Wow, someone on the internet telling people to get a job and life. Obviously you're one of the knee-jerk reactionaries who just wants TT to sign anybody. Sign someone so I can go to sleep at night! Please!

What I don't get is that you guys seem to think we've regressed...even though one of the youngest teams in the league just got more experienced. I would have liked TT to go after a RB, but obviously he'll draft one in the first 3 rounds. I know he's not planning on going into the season with Morency as the starter.

Pyle, this is something I can agree with you 100%

I think that the coaches, Ted and everyone else wants to improve the team, they dont want the team to fail because then they all would be fired..

I have faith that everyone is going to do whats best for the team, you dont seem to have that faith.

If you want to help the board, stop posting. Your negativity has turned me away from this site. Personally, others will follow suit and find a new, better board so I say screw trying to help.

    KEEP POSTING HERE!

btw, I hate ted too. Why the hell aren't enjoying two more SB trophies since he took over? Instead of baking cakes he should be shining trophies.
