Packers are doomed I mean they allowed 180 yards to the titans SB teams hold the titans to under 100 yards.
It will be either a rematch of SB 31 or SB 32 if its vs the broncos the outcome will be different as the Pack will win Rodgers will get his 2nd SB MVP and Rodgers will mark his place in Packers history as the 2nd best QB the packer have ever had the number 1 guy of course Bart Starr. I have good good feelings about this team this year. SB bound!!
Either would be GREAT.
I have been hoping for a Packers-Patriots Super Bowl since 2007.... we've made it only once, them twice since then.... never together.

If we can do our part, win our next 3 ballgames, we're there in New Orleans and I would expect to be facing either Manning or Brady!
How awesome would that be?

Expected the Patriots to help us out last week at home where they are usually unbeatable in December. They didn't and SF stayed ahead of us for the #2 sees.
Am hoping that Seattle wins at home this week where they are unbeatable (with refs help). But I will expect the worst and that SF wins.

#1- Atlanta
#2- San Fran..... they're both automatically into the NFC Final Four.

#6- NYG @ #3 GB
#5- Seattle @ #4 Washington

If Packers defeat NYG, and we haven't beaten them in the playoffs since the 1960's, then we earn a trip to San Francisco.
If we pull that one off, we will then go to Atlanta should they take care of Washington/Seattle.

How does that road look?

I do not think the Giants are going make it into playoffs. No run game. O line not pass protecting. No pass rush and letting iffy 2ndary get exposed.

Giants are toast. It'll go like this:

#1 Atlanta
#2 Green Bay

#3 SF vs. #6 Chicago
#4 Washington or Dallas vs. #5 Seattle

SF beats Chicago and heads to GB. There will be no repeat of the first game of the season. GB is way better and SF is faltering. Whoever goes to Atlanta gets beat. Atlanta will win a playoff game this year.

Then it's GB going to Atlanta for the NFC championship game.

Are we "too soft" to win the Super Bowl this season?

Here are the current odds to get to the Super Bowl/NFC from Sportsbook.com

  • Atlanta +225
  • Green Bay +225
  • San Francisco +275
  • Seattle +300
  • (GAP)
  • Washington +1000
  • Dallas +2000
  • Chicago +2500
  • Minnesota +4000
  • NY Giants +5000

Let's win in Minnesota first. Winning that game will be HUGE and send notice the Pack are for real.
No, they'll just discount the Vikings like everybody else we beat. Texans, Bears? Overrated. Titans, Jags? Jokes. Cards,? Looked good early. Rams? Mediocre at best. Saints? They were still struggling then. Lions, Vikings? They only have one player who carries the team.

We'll shut them all up in the playoffs.

I have not eliminated the G-men yet. I can see Detroit stepping up to beat the Bears while we throttle the Vikings. NYG beats Philly and they are in. Just a gut feel as this is possibly a 2nd worst case scenario at the moment. Worst case would be a Viking, Seahags, Cards sweep making Seattle the #2 seed thanks to the replacement refs.

You'd have to add Skins beat Cowboys, which is entirely possible, likely even. Should Dallas win, misnomers are out, Skins would still be ahead of them. Go Boys, go Bears.

Bogart: Despite their record, the Lions have been able to put up big numbers on offense this year and enough of those yards came in garbage time when the game was already out of reach in order to get CJ his record. Hate to say it, but the Falcons look like they are for real this year. Everyone is worried about SF and the NYG, and it's assumed that the Falcons are going to fold come playoff time? I don't buy it, just like I don't buy the Giants suddenly turning the switch on and looking like SB champions starting this week.

I'm banking on the opposite: Giants are gonna fold...they might not make the playoffs, and the Falcons are going to be tough.

Falcons look like they are for real every time they win the Number 1 seed.

Look at their schedule. They had by far the easiest schedule in the league and struggled against cup cakes like Oakland and Arizona, Tampa Bay, and Carolina.

They have folded every time they make the playoffs and they will again. They are a joke. Look at their numbers, stats don't lie. That defense is going to shredded to bits in the playoffs. Matt Ryan is already taking lots of hits from pressure, and they cannot run the ball worth a crap. Running the ball matters in the playoffs. Ryan isn't going to be able to throw it 40-50 times against defenses that will cream him like San Francisco.

I read the average age for a SB winning QB is 29.

You know a QB who is considered among the best of his position who is also 29? Mmmmhhmmmmm......

SB history does not really favor Manning or Brady either, especially Manning. QBs 36 and over rarely win it all. In fact a handful or less then a handful of starting SB QBs have been 36+. Time is ticking loud and strong for Manning/Brady and as they get older they keep fighting history.

But, due to his age and the caliber of player he is, history actually favors Rodgers the most out of any other QB in this postseason.

With this all being said to balance it out the Pack are still doomed as anything. I can already see them somehow playing the Bears in the NFC title game and Cutler torching them as usual or Matt Ryan morphing into the Joe Montana we know lurks within.

I believe WAS must beat DAL as well for the Jints to get in. Having all 4 games go their way is not likely. That's unfortunate.

I sense it will come down to the play of our defensive backfield from here on out.

Unfortunately it's entirely possible. We can beat the Vikings, Bears have played just as poorly as the Lions lately, Romo has a habit of choking plus RG3 is nice, and despite the bad matchup the Giants are capable of beating the Eagles.

Possible, yes. Likely, no.

Likelier than you might think.
I give the bears lions 50-50, with min game weighted slightly towards us. Skins and giants also have a slight advantage by me. IMO it all comes down to whether or not the bears win.

I'm fully aware of the teams, point spreads and what's on the line in all 4 of these games. I agree with you when isolating each game individually, but I maintain a 4 game parlay in this case is not likely to work out.

But it has to work out. The NFL will make it so otherwise they don't get the Manning bros SB in their home town.:alien:

Are we physical in the trenches?
Stopping the running game, getting ours going when the passing game doesn't click?

I hope so.
I want to smash the mounts of the Niners, and/or Seahawks. Giants too, but that won't happen this time around.
We can destroy the Seahawks, especially outside of Football Folsom. 49ers won't be easy, but they are acruing injury right now, and Kaep is still young, so it is *possible* just not likely. As for the Giants, we better just hope somebody else beats them because they have our number like the Rams have Frisco's. Made a deal with a Bears fan that we'll beat the Vikings if they keep NYG out of the running.
