Holmgren under the weather

    Holmgren returns to practice for Seahawks

    KIRKLAND, Wash. (AP) Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren was back at practice Wednesday after taking a day off after being checked for discomfort in his chest.

    Holmgren went to a hospital late Monday afternoon, but tests showed no damage. He took Tuesday off, then returned to the team Wednesday during its three-day passing minicamp.

    "I'm feeling better," Holmgren said after Wednesday's practice. "They did all the tests, and I think I'm in pretty good shape."

    Holmgren is scheduled to see a doctor again Friday.

    I think Mike Holmgren will do a great job this year; the fact that Bob Whitsitt is no longer with the Seahawks makes the coaching staff's job a lot easier.
