I for one think that this is an unfair advantage to add McDaniels to the staff RIGHT before they face the Denver Tebows. I'm not saying that without McDaniels they wouldn't have beaten Denver, but Damn. Also, what if they play the 49ers in the SB, McDaniels faced the 49ers TWICE this season. How can a coach join a team mid-playoff run? That's like an NFL free agent signing with a team immediately following the regular season only to join his new team during their playoff run.

Didn't I read the league might look into adding a rule for this?

I honestly did not think it would make a huge difference vs. the Broncos. The team changed a lot since McDaniels left.

McDaniels is just a way for the Pats to try to cheat the system. Maybe it ends up biting them in the *** sometime. Karma.

Also this is not really unfair I guess but I know Peyton gives insight/opinions to Eli on opponents. And especially this season since he has been out.

Can you really use the "c" word (cheating) if it's legal though? I thought it looked a little bad, but if it's not illegal (I heard Denver did something silmilar in their own history, in fact...so they're not breaking ground, exactly), that's about the worst you can say about it. If they hadn't already put a beat down on Denver, it would have looked worse.

Sometimes I wish there were no personnel changes allowed at all until after everyone's season is over (with certain exceptions). It's distracting, and you'd think it could wait a few weeks.

    WHAT REALLY HAPPENED....

Bill Bellichek sent Josh McDaniels out to go ruin a couple of NFL teams. He ran the Broncos into the ground, including wasting a first round pick on Tebow, and getting rid of Peyton Hillis. Then he went to St.Louis and helped play a role in hurting Sam Bradford's career.

After that, Bill told him to come back and give him a pat on the back for a job well done
