If you expected me to make PackerForum.com the top of my "sites to visit list", then you were sorely mistaken.

    I'll come in when I can, but when I can't I won't.

That's like the superbowl of running back records. Sad how low the bar is set for that franchise.

Cheesey, you want to take over on this one and do your superbowl thing? I'm going to bed soon.

    Vikings suck.

The best I've ever seen (and I've been watching since '76), and yes, even better than Wally.

But a big, fat zero. It takes more than a RB to win a SB. It takes good coaching, something Minn doesn't have right now.

On hot days, I suck down cold brews.
On cold days, I suck in my breath.
On beautiful days, I suck in the wonder of our planet.

    Is that what you mean?

Or are you resorting to more of the homophobic insults that seem to be your bread and butter?

Here's a clue: call me "gay" if you want. It doesn't bother me and it only makes you look like an ignorant jackass.

Barry Sanders was better than Payton IMO. Sanders was always a threat of breaking a long one right up til the point of him being down. Payton had a good line most of the time even when they didn't win. I never really worried about him breaking off long runs.

Defensive players will mostly agree that Sanders put the fear into them much more than sweetness.

And I agree with your comments Zeus, about the homophobic crap. Let's cut that out people. Were grown up here. Let's act like it.

The consensus top-3 RBs of "All-Time" are Jimmy Brown, Sweetness and Barry Sanders.

Since I was never able to actually see Jimmy Brown play, I can't judge him. So it's down to Payton and Sanders.

The difference-maker to me is that Payton would PUNISH tacklers on the end of runs. Sanders would dance out-of-bounds. If you asked CBs who played against both, I honestly believe they would pick Payton as the one they "feared" the most - because they knew when he came at them, they were going to feel the pain.

Obviously, you don't know my bread and butter. True, I will throw out a gay joke once and again - I also work at an establishment run by gay men, so your ignorance argument is out. I am sure I can hook you up though, I imagine I have more 'gay' friends than you have friends, so let me know if you want to borrow a flamer, one named Jody is standing right next to me asking if you're 'cute'. I told him you look like your face was on fire and someone put it out with a fork.

He says reach around at best for you. Sorry.

Out of 100,000 sperm you were the fastest huh? Interesting.

EDIT: I was going to throw a 'dillhole' in here but I'll skip it.

I'll stick with ignorant if you can work at an establishment run by gay men and still toss around homophobic insults.

You'd think your close proximity to so many gay men would cause you to realize that they face hatred and discrimination from those who would hate them because they are "different" and by "throw(ing) out a gay joke now and then" you perpetuate the hatred and stereotypes.

As to your offer to hook me up - I'll stick with my lovely wife, my 2 beautiful kids and the happiness that they bring to me.

See, that is precisely what I am talking about. Those gay men, toss around more jokes than anybody else. Gay discrimination has come far enough where ignorance isn't an issue. If I didn't toss a gay joke their way every once in awhile, they would be offended. And believe me they throw 'em right back.

I even asked my friend about the Westboro Baptist's that visited town earlier this spring. He merely laughed, and said he has made fun of them for years. They are the minority. Calling someone gay is almost a compliment to most of the gentleman I know. They are often refined, respectful, and about as accommodating as they come.

The tables turned a long time ago, if anything, the heterosexuals are more afraid of the gays than the gays are of them. The fact that you still think that blatant discrimination runs rampant in the gay community, defines ignorance perfectly.

EDIT: It wasn't an offer from me.

EDIT: This is also twice as funny to me since I wrote this yesterday.

Lordy you have reading comprehension problems.

Discrimination doesn't run rampant in the gay community - it's in the STRAIGHT community.

And making gay jokes in the straight community DOES serve to reinforce the discrimination/hatred/distrust/whatever.

I bet you think it's okay to toss around the odd racist joke too, because you happen to know a lot of Asian or Black people.

    Same.
    Exact.
    Thing.

This is a tough call because we're talking about my 2 favorite non-Packers of all-time.

Payton was a great man and heart a noble heart. But NOBODY in the open field did more damage than Barry Sanders.

Sanders' OLs were jokes. Absolutely horrible. He has the record for most runs for a loss because he was running for his life before he even crossed the line. It was pathetic. But still, look what Sanders was able to amass.

Sanders would have the yardage record if he continued playing. We all know this. He's way better than Emmitt. But he decided he was sick of it and just quit. That's just how Barry was.

I'm too young to judge Jim Brown. I only judge players '76 and beyond.

I'd say Barry was the best, then Wally. Dickerson was good too, but can't hold a candle to either of them. LT, not sure yet. AP, we'll see.
