    I concur, his douche-baggery runs deep!:happy0005:

(You don't get too many opportunities to use douche bag in a post so I thought I'd make a championship run with it!)

"Clay Matthews, who’s all hype — he had a couple of three-sack games in the first four weeks and was never heard from again — I’m quite sure I saw him put his helmet on Michael Vick and never paid a dime."

Um... he was quite monumental in the games that he played. And, if you're talking about the hit at 2:48 in this video, how the heck is that leading with his helmet?

The very same Super Bowl that you got only one tackle in. What do they say about people throwing stones in glass houses again?

Obvious idiot, but what he said about Rapelisberger is true. Might be the most overrated QB to ever play the game, at least since Bradshaw.

I have to admit, Harrison opened a big can of worms with this one. This is a side of him I've never seen before.

I mean, he posed with guns on the cover picture of Men's Journal. He called the Commish a gay slur. He put two of his teammates (Roethlisberger and Mendenhall) under the bus in public, something not even people like Randy Moss do. He insulted a man who survived a severe stroke and still played NFL football shortly after (Tedy Bruschi), calling him a "clown" and whatnot. Even Steeler fans are embarrassed and angry at Harrison. I would be, too, if he played for the Packers and pulled this crap.

Harrison is just jealous that it took him 7 years to get where Clay is in his 2nd.

I have serious concerns that he is bipolar or has another mental disorder.

If I was the GM at Pitt, I would cut him loose. He will be that bad dude screwing up locker room chemistry.

That's true, and as many are aware of, in this country (America), that typically allows him to say, feel, do whatever he wants and not ever even be accused of being racist.

But I've been delighted to hear both Steven A Smith on ESPN's Rome is Burning yesterday, and Nate Newton on ESPN Radio here in Dallas yesterday, BRING UP the racial part.

They both said that if a white guy had said anything even close to this, about a black man, it would be a firestorm. I bet Steven's stuff is on a podcast or online somewhere. I was surprised but happy to see that.

It's about time someone calls a spade a spade, finally. But what's still sad is this: Yes Nate and Stephen A said it in public. But did any white guys say it? Probably not because they're not allowed to have any opinion about anything racial without being called racist for bringing it up.

I never even thought this was a race issue. I just simply thought that Harrison went crazy. Or maybe he was always this crazy, and some reporter gave him an opportunity to put his craziness out into the open.

You mean this isn't a firestorm now?

Also, some people believe the opposite, like if a white guy criticizes a black guy, it's okay, but if a black guy criticizes a white guy, there's a firestorm because they "dared to insult the Man".

    He is racist.
Here's a great piece from the Dan Patrick show with Rich Eisen, exactly about Harrison's sale-old Race Card claim. Of all the things I am tired of in America, this is pretty high on the list: one particular race playing the race card at the drop of a hat, time and time again when it's not even close to warranted. It's no wonder that race continues to linger at the bottom of every single positive category in the United States. Outside of sports & entertainment that is.

He's not racist, he's paranoid, ignorant and crazy.

But then again, all racists are...

Either he wants attention or he's just plain nuts. People make controversial comments like these for a reason. In his case, ignoring him in the hopes he will go away probably won't work. I really think his teammates need to stand up to him and tell him to shut the hell up. Or his coach should bench him for a bit.

I didn't either. He was ripping Mendenhall a new one too, wasn't he?

He's just gonna hold his breath until he turns blue if they won't let him try to knock everybody's head off with cheap shots.

He's going to tank the Steelers if they don't get a handle on him soon. Have we learned nothing from T.O.? The sad part is he has so much talent, if only they can remove his mouth.

Why would they? There's a hobo across the street claiming that the world will end soon, yet noone says or does anything about it.

    Just rants from a lunatic.

well... this is a packers forum... he did mention a packer... you do math.

I assume the real reason is no one actually read the article they just caught the headlines.

Well, to be fair, he said so much crap, that calling Matthews all hype was only #5 in the list of crazy rants.

He threw Roethlisberger under the bus, threw Mendenhall, called Goodell a gay slur, said the NFL is racist, and then said Matthews is all hype.

Well, if you're planning on re-selling the cocaine, that's actually smart business...
