Greetings from Griesheim ( Germany)

Howdy Packer Fans

I'd like to introduce me:

But first of all sorry -for my bad english, hope you can read and understand-

I'm a Packers Fan since the early 1980.
In this time I receive AFN with my Tv in poor quality and black & white.
However i saw my first Packergames on Tv
In this time it was difficult, here in Germany, to get Information about the Packs, no internet no books in german language absolute nothing.
But the Tv commentators and the Experts are talking each time so much about
the history of the Packs and that is the reason that i was a Packer Fan.
Later i find some books about the Packs and i' m glad to say the History is
matchless in the NFL.
Now i get i dream
I want to go to Lambeau Field, no i have to go.
In 2006 it became reality :
My Family and i we travel to Green Bay we are on a journey across the USA.
We spend 4 Days in Green Bay, but we saw only the practics.
In 2008 we return to Tteltown my wife and i we have tickets for a pre seaon game ( Titans ) Juhuuuu i was in Lambeau, what a feeling.
One year later i returned to Lambeau with my two sons, both Pacher Fans , like
their father and my son on law as well a Packer Fan, we called the journey- A Mens Trip.
We start the the Trip in Frankfurt all 4 with Packers gear autentic jersey, caps we travel by air to Chicago. At arival the people in Chicago looks unbelieving
Packer Fans from Germany here in Ohare!!!
We pick up the car and we drive up to Green Bay for a week.
We have picky the game against the VIKINGS !!!!!
The tickets and the fly i booked early in 2009 at this juncture no one knew
that # 4 comes back to Lambeau, holly smoke what a surprise.

Hope we can return to Green Bay soon .
In Germany we watch every Packers Game, german pay Tv or online.
Also we have a tailgate Party in the yard, we have a lot of fun.

Schön das sich hier auch noch andere Packer Fans aus Deutschland tummeln.

Toll das Du schon so oft in Green Bay warst, ich selbst werde im Oktober beim Spiel gegen die Broncos das erste Mal ein Spiel live vor Ort verfolgen.
Ich hoffe hier wieder von Dir zu hören und zu lesen.

Ja, ich habe vor öfters hier zu erscheinen, mal sehen wie das mit dem englishschreiben so klappt, is nicht einfach für mich, aber deutsch geht ganz gut

Hast du schon alles gebucht?
wir waren gegen die vikings im Comfort In da kannst du auch den Wagen stehen lassen und zu Fuß zum Stadion hin und ein paar Bier trinken ca 3 km nur geradeaus.
, das BW Midway konnten/ wollten wir nicht bezahlen ist allerdings ein klasse Hotel wir waren da 2 x drin allerdings nie nicht während eines regulären Spiels zu teuer
das smokehouse kann ich nur emppfehlen und gegenüber das Stadium View eine klasse Sportsbar
Unsere ttickets habe ich immer über Packers Fan tours gebucht und vor Ort abgeholt.

With the neighbors i have no problems, you know we are a small group and the yard is cloth to the next house, so we can't do a pretty loud party, but i tell you: if i use my big Smoker i make a lot of smoke, or with the charcoal grill also.

Die Tickets sind gerade heute gekommen und wir haben uns schon vor einiger Zeit ein Zimmer im Country Inn&Suites gesichert, allerdings zu Phantasiepreisen

Wir haben die Tickets auch über diese Agentur (Event USA) gebucht, die ist ja direkt auf der packers.com website verlinkt.
Ich war vorher einmal in Green Bay zum Besuch der Hall of Fame und freue mich jetzt riesig auf das Spiel.
Mit Deinem Englisch klappt es doch prima, ich muß mich da auch ein wenig durchkämpfen.
Aber damit jetzt meckert das wir hier ein deutsches Forum aufmachen mal wieder in Englisch....

After a pretty nice weekend with BBQ (pulled pork) I show some pictures of our packers yard:
