    I got that!
But wasn't it "Wrecks" back on the field for you guys today? Lucky you were up against the "mighty" Raiders! They REALLY suck!

I didnt get to watch the game. I listened to it. I had a difficult time not wanting to turn the station to NPR for something more exciting. The Raiders are terrible, from what I heard.

Hey......i KNOW how frustrating it is to see your team nose dive. Remember, i was around during the 1970's and 80's. I KNOW it's not fun.
But your team DID win Sunday! Beating a bad team beats losing to a bad team.

You want to talk about luck... here is a stat from Sunday with all luck embedded within it...

    R. Grossman 24/37 266 0 0 INTS

Plus Benson running for a 40 plus yard score, what did he jump in a cart and race to the endzone?

    LOL

Funny thing is, I still dont believe it. The Packer game was still on so they hadn't cut over to the bear game yet. I still havent seen proof that our slow, easily bumped down running back actually made that run.

I think all the defenders had stopped and couldn't run after him because they were laughing too hard when they heard someone shout "Run Forrest, RUN!!!!"

    You, talking about LUCK!?!?
How about........a Denver team that is SO stupid, it keeps kicking to Devin Hester? Without those 2 plays, the Bears wouldn't have been CLOSE to being in the game. Denver's stupidity handed the Bears a win. Not that it really matters.........the Bears season will be over after week 17 anyway.
The Bears got an early Christmas "gift" from the Broncos.

The bears season will be over after winning on week 16. Nothing else matters after that.

btw- for a lucky example against Denver, see above my week 8 post...

Week 16? Packers will have their position locked up in the playoff seeding and won't have anything to play for. I'll have to dig up the Bears fans excuses when the Packers pummeled them in the last game of the season last year.

You are welcome to use our comments for why the game meant something. Although trying to use Lovie Smith saying the main thing is beating the Packers might be a tough sell.

Hmmm.......guess i'll have to go to my fridge and pull out that bunch of "sour grapes" and send them to you! Although it seems you already have enough of your own!
Yup.......the 10 Packer wins were JUST luck.......Donald Driver, Jennings, Kampman, Favre........they had NOTHING to do with it.

Since I don't see this ending anytime soon and I have a little Irish blood in me.. I thought that I would embrace the name and the record that comes with it..

Big differnce between the bears winning a meaningless end of the season game this year and the packers winning a meaningless end of the season game last year: The bears won both MEANINGFULL games during the season. Of course, there is the little matter of Chicago actually winning in WK 16 to back up this statement.

So you are correct. THe bears won the game that counted in each of the past 2 years, and the packers have won the game that didnt count. We will see about this years 'I have a party to go to tonight, so I dont care about this game' Bowl.

The Bears incredible talent? (And the fact that the refs blew almost every call?) Yup, must be the Bears incredible talent. Yeah.....I'm SURE thats it.

fumble agreed, but Pack didnt score then, and Carolina didnt score on their next possession. If you truly think a fumble then would have made Carolina win, you need to take off your anti Packer glasses

NO!!! Don't tell him to do that!!! Then he would see how good the Packers are, and how much the Bears really suck! The reality would be too much for him, and his head would explode!!!!

I truely think that if GB would have been playing a better team, that they would not have won.
