Locally squirrels uncovered an old Indian artifact.

    http://cbs13.com/topstories/local_story_194095839.html

Archaeologists did not carefully unearth the 8,000 to 10,000 year old artifact, but it appears some curious squirrels dug it up.

Now, folks at the Maidu Indian Interpretive Center are trying to preserve what the squirrels unearthed.

"We only find what the squirrels are giving us right now. And that's OK. We don't want to dig." said Park Specialist Chuck Kritzon.

While the officials running the Maidu Center know there are probably more artifacts in the park, it is illegall for humans to dig them up on the protected land.

Squirrels could be invading your privacy!!

14 Squirrels were arrested for spying.

    http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3425130,00.html

Iranian intelligence operatives recently detained over a dozen squirrels found within the nation's borders, claiming the rodents were serving as spies for Western powers determined to undermine the Islamic Republic.

"In recent weeks, intelligence operatives have arrested 14 squirrels within Iran's borders," state-sponsored news agency IRNA reported. "The squirrels were carrying spy gear of foreign agencies, and were stopped before they could act, thanks to the alertness of our intelligence services."

Squirrels near you could be up to something. Watch them closely.

I can see WHY squirrels would be flocking (do squirrels "flock"?) to Iran.......after all, there are enough NUTS in that country to feed ALL the squirrels in the world.

They could be looking in one of your windows right now!!
Gathering intelligence data for western governments and trying to undermine your household.

Many years ago squirrels were running across my in-laws roof on Christmas Eve and my very young son convinced himself there were reindeer on the roof. He was excited. I could not get him to sleep for hours.

Everyone here must have a squirrel fetish. After Bretts retirement and the draft, things are looking pretty down in the offseason, until the next headline.

I took time this weekend to try and identify the "Bad Squirrels" and it was an impossible task. Just when I thought I'd figured out who was naughty, four more would pop up out of nowhere and they'd all stand there looking at me like "Ok. Bobby Boy! Guess which of us is Saddam and who's Mother Theresa!"

I gave up. They now use the top of my roof for a runway for take offs and landings as they practice their jumping skills from the trees that border each side of our house.

If I could just train them to clean out my gutters.......!
