Please do not take this as an attack, but I truly am curious about something... Why exactly are you a Packers fan?

Seriously.

You hate TT.
You think Sanders will fail as DC.
You think we lack anything resembling an offense (with the exception of Favre).
You think our draft sucked.
You think our FA signings were ridiculous.
You think most Packer fans are nothing more that TT/front office worshipping drones.
You pretty much have the Pack pegged as a bottom of the league team before they have even played a down of the 2006 campaign.

So with the exception of Favre, what is it about this team that you actually like???

I really am curious.

Don't try to make my original post into something it is not. The question was not meant to be an attack on P@ck, I am just curious about what it is about the Pack he actually enjoys. I don't recall a single positive thing he has ever posted about the Green Bay Packers organization, so I was wondering what he actually got out of being a fan. He seem pretty passionate about what he thinks, but I fail to see why he would continue to follow an organization that he seems to have very little respect for.

I will say one thing, regardless of the repetition in many of his posts, I have not seen P@ck engage in the outright trolling you have taken part in as of late. Reread your original reply to this thread for a perfect example.

Cmon Anubis, if this wasn't a smack post why didn't you just PM P@ck66. You want to try and embarrass him and you want the TT faithful to back you up. zero was the first to oblige. Depack had enough sense to see this and then you attack him. Garbage.

I think the question is pretty reasonable. I don't think anybody has seen any posts by Pack66 that truly suggest that he is indeed a Packers fan. He loves Favre, that is for sure, but I don't think he has ever posted anything positive about the team not involving Brett Favre, thus making people wonder if he is a Favre fan or a Packers fan.

1. I am not overly impressed with TT...tis' true. I think he's an average to above avg. evaluator of college talent...this does not necessarily translate into a good GM however...I reserve the right of annointing TT as the savior of the Packers and I think he made a mistake by not playing to the Packer's strength this year and maybe next, which is of course--Brett Favre...

2. Again..I did not say that Bob Sanders will fail as a DC....What I did say is don't expect him to be a "Jim Bates" this year and get the same results that Bates did last year. There's a difference in their abilities. What's so wrong with saying that?

3. This is perhaps your most true statement. The Packers do (RIGHT NOW) have anything resembling a cohesive, winning offense. However..I do like Tauscher, Clifton, Wells, Driver, Franks, Green, Henderson, & Favre...the jury is out on everyone else, and I don't think TT has done NEAR enough as GM in this area...

4. Our draft was "OK"...the jury is still out..
5. Our FA was below average...this is widely accepted everywhere except the city of Green Bay, Wisconsin....
6. Not most Packer fans...just maybe 50-60% that post on this site...(that's a guess...)
7. I don't think the Pack will be at the bottom. With Favre playing (with the exception of the hideous fiasco of last year), the team has a chance of at least being 8-8....and most likely 9-7 or even 10-6....Hell...he did it with that huge handicap Sherossley all those years...so i'm assuming he can do it with the handicap of "Tightwad TEddy"....

but in my mind....nobody's gotten Favre the "elite receiving corps" that Wolf had been promising since the 90's....

that's what would have gotten the Pack to the SB...

(Oh..by the way..I've been a Packer fan since 1967...since I was 4 years old...if you care to know....so I've been through the tough times....and I will still be here through the second darkness...which will be known as "The TT years".....)

I attacked "DePack" because he claimed he never saw the questions in my post, before launching into his usual tirade. I also am sick of the pathetic $hit disturbing that has began to permeate this board as of late. Posts like DePack's and yours are exactly what I am talking about.

I asked P@ck66 a question, and he chose to answer. Personally, I fail to see how exactly his answer could be embarassing unless he simply didn't have one. He could have chose to ignore my post had he of wanted to. Of course, it is obvious that you and DePack could not. That is quite telling in itself. How old are you two anyways??? 12???

I know DePack desperately wanted me to jump all over P@ck for his opinion, simply for a reason to justify his childish behaviour on the forum. If there was anything that could be construed as "embarassing" in this thread, it is the responses of you, DePack and anyone else with this ridiculous "us vs. them" mentality.
