Ivo, are you going to start a Packers Memorabilia thread, so The Drew doesn't spank you for your dialogue? Also, I'll play the match game with your Montana. Need to take some photos.

I think J. Russell would give these out when he hit bay area buffets as form of payment.

Post this in the Louisiana craigslist, I'm sure he's still "big" in the south. :roflmao:

I'd think it might land him deeper in debt, unless he orders the jerseys from China and buys them in bulk.

Maybe I'll start a collection of complete draft busts, pick up a Ryan Leaf and a Courtney Brown and I'll have a pretty good start. Shouldn't be an expensive collection to start, right?

    That still stings.

I was talking to a fellow drunk packers fan on the trolley after the SD game and he was yelling: We could've had Barry Sanders or Deion Sanders or Derrick Thomas!!!!!!!! ARRRRRGHHHHH!!!!! But no, we got Tony Mandarich!!!! WHYYY, Packers WHYYYY!!!! :roflmao::rolleyes:

I knew better than to post that name, gotta have some sensitivity to my generous hosts here. That one still upsets me, for a few reasons.

So by "I was talking to a fellow drunk packers fan on the trolley after the SD game", is that to imply that you were drunk as well? Not that there's anything wrong with that, I've had many a drunken bus, metro, trolly, cab, boat, hang glider ride myself. Good times, good times.

Some of my best advice comes when I have alcohol in my system.

Very possible if we would have drafted Barry Sanders we would have been the lions of the 90s. No favre. No Ron Wolf. No Holmgren. If we would have drafted Deion he would have taken up baseball. GB was the worst place a player could imagine going at the time.

Just a shot in the dark at this point as I am just doing some research...I have a 1936 autographed picture of the 36 worldchampion team (Grandfather George Saure played on the team). Anyone have a direction on where I could get it appraised.

First step should be getting it authenticated by a reputable company, these guys are the standard when it comes to collectables.

Once you have it authenticated, then look to get it appraised.

Wow Ivo...finally getting around to finish looking at your collection! That is truly nuts!
    (in a good way!)

Now i have a few questions...that Chiefs jersey...how did you know it wasn't a 'game worn" jersey...and is that protocol that its refundable if you dislike it for whatever reason?

Now this may be more sensitive..but do you give out the total #'s of jersey's, footballs or helmets you own..OR is that a bit like asking a cattle rancher how many head of cattle he has??

I'm unfamiliar with football collection etiquette!

    Sorry for the delayed response.

The Chiefs Roaf jersey looked brand new out of the box. It came from the Chiefs directly but that doesnt mean they cant screw up. Roaf being an O lineman should have some evidence of wear. If this was a WR jersey or a Punter jersey I might be less suspicious. But from one game you should see clear signs of game use on that jersey or signs of it being washed. Neither was evident.

The chiefs refused to give a refund at first. I threw a fit and threatened to expose them for fraud if they chose to ignore my request for a refund. I informed them that I had an expert look at the jersey as well and then they changed their tune.

total number varies of game used items. I havent counted in awhile, the vast majority is in this thread. I sold some helmets recently so I only have 2 game worn helmets at the present time.

Just bought a Majik man rookie jersey though and a U of Miami jersey. Im not much of a college collector but I like the uniform. Its a #52, though not worn by Ray Lewis its the reason I bought it. Plus it was very reasonable.

Sweet Majik Ivo. Did you pick that up through the recent Mears auction?
