Patrick Kerney is the reincarnation of the Celtic Warrior CuChullain. In Celtic mythology CuChullain would transform in battle into an all destructive fury. Whole armies would be destroyed by him.

We have kept him locked up all week but on Saturday we will be letting him out of his cage again.

Tauscher will have exactly NO effect him - he will run through him like he isnt there.

Favres career will end on Saturday under a brutal mauling. His last football memory will be Paddy K smashing into his ribs. He will have nightmares about this for the rest of his life.

Patrick Kerney has been in the league for how many years already, I think Tauscher has faced this cat before.. good player that exposed a FA rookie tackle in the first round.

He is a leader, probably, but to worship him like this thread started out.. A little too much of that spiked Starbucks coffee I think.

Don't worry, "Chewbaca the Wookie" or whatever you call him won't bother Favre. "Blubber man"..........that is what WE will be calling Coach Holmgren after the game, as he's "blubbering" over another loss by his See-Hawkz at Lambeau Field.

Yeah....Mike Holgrem said he put the weight on in Green Bay and because its a dense fat (from all the shite food you eat) he said he's never been able to lose it.

I expect heart attacks will be 'a plenty' in Lambo on Saturday

"Patrick Kerney is getting all sorts of press after an outstanding regular season, and more importantly, just a dominate performance against the Washington Redskins. But the way people are carrying on, you’d think he was the second coming of Deacon Jones. Let’s all just slow down a little bit, shall we?

First of all, the Seahawks as a whole are a different team in the confines of Qwest Field. The offense plays better, usually provides a lead and the defense is then aided by an opposing offense that needs to deal with the thundering home crowd that makes it easy for Kerney and his line mates to get off the ball. Now, are they talented? Of course. But the Seahawks, and the defense in particular, is quite a different animal away from the upper Northwest. And Kerney is no different.

Looking at Kerney’s 14.5 sacks from the regular season, it’s interesting to note that just 4 of them came on the road, and 3 of those were at St. Louis against a horrible, banged up Rams offensive line. And the other came against the 49ers, who sport possibly one of the three worst offensive lines in football. Kereny’s whole game is taken away from him when the tackle opposite can get off on the actual snap count, rather than two beats after Kerney is already charging across the line. None of this is to say that the Packers should not pay attention if Mark Tauscher should struggle in the early going. But Tauscher handled Kerney the last time they faced each other when he was with Atlanta. (Not to mention Tauscher is worlds better than most of the scrubs Kereny has made his living against this season)

Finally, the best weapon the Packers will have against Kereny is Mike McCarthy. His playcalling and ability to keep the defense guessing will slow down the entire front seven. I won’t be surpised to see a liberal use of the play where Favre pump-fakes the slant pass and then hands the ball to Ryan Grant up the middle, since the blocking on that particular play allows Tauscher to let Kereny rush up the field and take himself out of the play.

All in all, yes Kereny needs to be accounted for. But the Packers have the tools necessary to neutralize him."

Thanks cheesehead TV for the use of this quote and for the annalysis.

In other words. Away he is average at home he is above average. He is away this Saturday.

    You're absolutely tight.
Mark Tauscher will have no problem with Kery at all.
    I'm sorry I brought it up !

Exactly. Kerney played some terrible lines. He's been in the league for several years. He's good, not great. To see Hawk fans get pumped up about Kerney is kind of telling about the overall talent on the team

there is a way to talk smack ( see our resident vike and bear fans ) but to come here during the week of the game and bash like this was really uncalled for..

So the question now is, will AnMadraRua say sorry for anything he posted?

    I doubt it

You know...........i DID think i heard "bagpipes" during the game...........turns out it was just Kerney gasping for air!!!!!

Oh.......what number is he again? I think i missed the terror he was supposed to be on the field. Although in the third quarter i think i saw a couple members of the grounds crew grab "Chinchilla" and use him to brush the snow off the goal line.
