Not just made the move. But did it in such a jerkoff way. You know, first by retiring in a tearful presser, followed by hinting you might want to return, but never really fully committing, followed by waiting until pre-season started before actually showing up to camp and demanding reinstatement.

Follow that up with demands to be traded to a hated division rival because you'd like a shot at "Sticking it" to the GM.

Here's hoping Fraud get's booed even louder in Lambeau this year.

I agree 100%. Louvie has pretty much had our number but I really dont care that much as some of the best games for the pack over the past decade has been against the vikings. Getting brett made it one of the best national rivalries.

your damn right about them knowing he is a lying egomaniac douche. I cant wait to see the reaction he gets in NJ when he plays the Jets. He used them just as much as he did anyone. I hope some city cheers when they stretcher him off the field to end his career. I would make a deal with the devil if it was in GB.

I like college. Anyway, I am more of a NHL guy, and how does it feel to have NADA in terms of an NHL team? Oh yeah, MN produces more NHL players than any other state in the country. NHL is much more impressive, it's professional after-all, the majority of college players don't make it to the NHL. But to make you look like a dumbass...the Gophers have accomplished ten fold over their history compared to the Badgers look....

    Gophers-National Championships (2 pre-NCAA, 5 NCAA):
    1929[4], 1940[5], 1974, 1976, 1979, 2002, 2003
    Gophers-WCHA Regular Season Championships (12):
    1953, 1954, 1970, 1975, 1981, 1983, 1988, 1989, 1992, 1997, 2006, 2007
    Gophers-WCHA Tournament Championships (14):
    1961, 1971, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1993, 1994, 1996, 2003, 2004, 2007
    Gophers-NCAA Frozen Four Appearances (19):
    1953, 1954, 1961, 1971, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1979, 1981, 1983, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1994, 1995, 2002, 2003, 2005

    Badgers-NCAA Tournament Champions
    1973, 1977, 1981, 1983, 1990, 2006
    Badgers-NCAA Tournament Frozen Four
    1970, 1972, 1973, 1977, 1978, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1990, 1992, 2006, 2010
    Badgers-NCAA Tournament Appearances
    1970, 1972, 1973, 1977, 1978, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2010
    Badgers-Conference Tournament Champions
    1970, 1972, 1973, 1977, 1978, 1982, 1983, 1988, 1990, 1995, 1998
    Badgers-Conference Regular Season Champions
    1977, 1990, 2000

So now for the results-Total championships for Gophers is 33 total championships accomplishments, and the Badgers have 26 total championship accomplishments, so that means the Gophers have accomplished 7 more than the Badgers...so now how salty does that taste? Nice try, but epic fail...:rotfl:

    Ah.
Now I get our differences in opinion.
You don't blame Burnt but we do.
Well we're probably going to have to agree to disagree.

I don't blame MM and TT for telling Brent that he would have to try out after he yet again blew it for the Pack and then showed he was unstable after retiring and un-retiring.
The quitting was just out of the blue. And that was quite a shock to some of us. I thought he had one more year in him.
Burt could have shared the stage.
    But nope.
It has to be all about his own self and not what's best for the team.
    Exactly.
When it gets closer to the games of Packers vs Brent Fail I'll be creating posts asking those of you on the boards who will be there to think of us watching at home and to boo extra loud at Burt for us.

Hmmmmm according to this, Wisconsin has more NATIONAL titles (which is what ivo said)

Another problem we have with Burnt Fart is that he made a comment that his playing with the Vikes last season was the best season of his career.
And to loyal Burnt/Packers fans well, that must have stung or hurt somewhat.
As you pointed out a few times, MNVIKES, Burnt gave his best years in GB.
Winning wise and most stats, yes. Stats wise for a season, no.
I'm not a stats guy, but I do know that he threw the fewest INTs last year.
    So
    1) OK NOW he gets it right. (Why didn't he do that years ago?)
    2) He has forgotten his years with Green Bay already.
And since he has done that, it's like; Well, forget about you too!

It's fixed. (At least it is on my monitor. How about yours?)

I dunno how it happened but here's what happened.
I was trying to copy and paste the "Never Forget" image a few times while on Firefox.
    The image wasn't showing up.
So then I was able to do it from Netscape.
That mess showed up after I got it pasted.
    I dunno.....
    Go figure.

First of all the throw vs Lions in the 93 playoffs was NOT across the body throw. Favre threw to his right and he is right handed so it can NOT be a cross body throw. LOOK at the replays.

Second, yes you ARE whining. We know every loss is a team loss and referees blow calls from time to time. Favre blew it like he blew it for the Packers time and again. AND there are more than just one referee during a football game.

Third, this is what the Packers fans have always known about Favre and forgave him because he was a Packer. NOW we don't have to.

    So quit whining.

If I was to pick a team it would be the flyers but I dont care that much about pro hockey. I guess its better not having a pro team than watching one leave :nhl2:

Thank you for informing me that most college players dont make it to the pros. That was ground breaking. I will alert ESPN so they can scroll it for the next week across the bottom.

weird, couldnt find any of that BS about pre NCAA championships on the Gophers website... maybe you should email them and let them know about their history.

Like I said, Norm Green screwed the team and fans because he was a little rapist.....and the reason why you didn't see those pre-championships on MN's website is because they don't want to be like the Packers and have anything to do with ancient records, but since I found them, I figured there fair game (Packer fans do the same with pre Super Bowls right)? Boom Shocka Locka...

No....I am not here to talk about hockey, and that is because with WI compared to MN in ALL aspects of hockey, there is no comparison, MN ultimately dominates starting with the players it produces, all the way to actually having a NHL team....

Since I have been hearing about pre-super bowl arguments from Chedda Dick fans for decades now, maybe it's finally starting to grow on me?? Either way, someone challenged me, so I responded like any Packer fan would by using EVERYTHING in the arsenal, hypocrite? Sure....why not....everyone else has been at one point or another right? Perfection is impossible......

Ha! The Gophers won 2 championships pre-NCAA, giving them 7 TOTAL championships to Wisconsin's 6.....

Hey, I am just using the Packers logic with the entire pre-whatever theory....you guys claim you have all these trophys (although the vast majority are pre-super bowl), then I will go ahead and be a hypocrite I guess in using the pre-NCAA argument, however if you disagree with it you would be the hypocrite then as well...way to do your research prior to the this post...now your the hypocrite...didn't you call me out for not looking up CURRENT Salary information pertaining to Favre the other week? Yup....so that means that since you didn't look up the CURRENT Gopher championship information and still argued a point that wasn't accurate (Ivo's idea of what's right, but was wrong when all the facts were presented), that makes you a hypocrite too then huh? Yup...I wasn't kidding when I said we all do it, whether its on purpose or not is the ultimate question

...hint hint....if you use Wikipedia for an easy access to information like me, at least double check it for accuracy with other sources, it's obvious that since you didn't do so, at least not well enough, you became a "double hypocrite" then..or something like that.....At least when I thought Favre wasn't accepting the money, there was actually a article or two confirming that (old or not), but at no point was the information about the Gophers pre-NCAA championships not available....boo ya! :yahoo:

You know damn well the FRANCHISE recognizes them, you know what I meant dude....stop arguing solely for the sake of arguing...it just makes you look like a hypocrite for all the times you defended the Packers for the pre-super bowl arguments I tried using, or you can continue to demonstrate being a hypocrite and simply admit that you are one as well? I'm down with either one....:big_boss:

Yikes fans will go away after a couple of losses this year, and then hope their team loses them all to ensure a good draft pick. This is what happens when you can't win year after year after year for 50 years.

The Pack has only won 6 Championships since the Yikes joined the league. In fairness, the Yikes won one NFL Championship, only to screw it up by losing to the AFL Chiefs in the last pre-merger NFL-AFL Championship game.

What a history. What a team. I'm only disappointed that The Interceptor didn't play his entire career with the purple, which would have guaranteed no Championship ring for him. We could have won several more with someone like Dilfer at QB who didn't turn the ball over.

God, your a fricken hoot! It's funny how you only bring up the ONLY negative based record Brett holds (out of like 50), everyone knows him as the turnover king, me? I know him for throwing only 7 interceptions in the regular season to many many many more TD's. There is the two against the Saints, but I will tell you that watching Favre pick apart those SB favored Cowboys last year was a sight to see, I haven't seen a display like that since 2003 or 2004 (the last season before Favre ANY Vikings QB threw for 300yds in a game)! Think about it, Favre had SPECTACULAR numbers last year, so although you hate the man with a passion, can you really blame Vikings fans for wanting him back? He gave us fans the first exciting season in about 6 years for crying out loud, think about it! Maybe you would have a different approach knowing that your franchise didn't hold one SB? Everyone tells me that I would think differently if my team would have one, but what about the GB fans being placed on my side of things? You think it's all about rubbing Favre into your face, but the funny thing is that it's not, at least not with me. I am here because Brett was a Packer all his career virtually, and since WI happens to border MN, of course there is a coincidence involved don't ya think?

Favre does hold the INT record, but he also holds many others that nobody will EVER touch, including Rodgers...
