As long as Rodgers doesn't surpass Fail's INT record, I'll be fine with that. As far as the other records: I don't give a damn one way or the other if A-Rod or anyone else ever breaks them. (They will be tough to do seeing the longevity of Burt.) All I give a damn about is seeing A-Rod going to and winning a SB or two or a few. Cleary he deserves that. BTW; I'm glad we're back to talking football here instead of hockey. :nhl3: For a moment there I thought I was on a hockey forum! :haha:
I love the "Aaron Rodgers will NEVER <insert accomplishment here>" retards. Before last season we heard "Aaron Rodgers will NEVER be able to win from behind." Yet he did that in week 1. Then we heard "Aaron Rodgers will NEVER make the playoffs." Ooops,. try again. Now it's "Aaron Rodgers will NEVER win the division, win a playoff game, go to the Super Bowl, win a Super Bowl, touch any of Favre's records..." It's like these assholes expected Aaron Rodgers to have crammed 20 ******* years of career accomplishments into 2 measly years as a starter. How about we let the kid have play out his career first before we start running down the list of things he'll "never" do.
Aaron Rodgers holds the Packers single season QB rating. BY FAR. IN HIS 2ND SEASON. Favre never even came close to what Rodgers did last year, with the Packers. Too soon to say what Rodgers can or can't do.
No hypocrite here: I've hated the Minnesota team since they joined the league, and loved the Packers since coming into the world. If it's hypocritical to dislike a deserter, I plead guilty. And Manning will break most, if not all, of The Interceptor's records if he stays healthy--but no one will ever come close to breaking the interceptions and soon-to-be fumble record that your QB will own for eternity. Turnovers, as a fan of your team knows for sure, are a key ingredient in losing.

If anyone wants to watch Favre suck it up the vikes game comes on in 5 minutes on nfl network. I might try and turn this into a drinking game. 1 drink of beer for every time the guys in the booth praise favre, 1 shot for every fumble or INT, ect
2 fumbles and an int for pick 6 so far lol Although the int n ot his fault at all the WR should have had it.. The one fumble got negated by a D penalty the 1st one didnt see?
Wow watching this reply is nutts... Mike Maylock? I love his take and the draft...But listening to him now is bad.. Near end of 1st half Brett threw a ball way behind Walker Mike says thats a catchable ball you need to do that in the NFL Walker was in mid air and the ball was like 3 feet BEHIND him and he is suppose to catch it? Glad I dont have to listen to that guy doing Vikings games
Mayock is a queens fan douchebag. Last year it was sickening the ammount of time he spent kissing their feet...
Read this: Peyton Manning Chases Down Brett Favre’s Records « Lots of articles out there with the same numbers. Manning stays healthy=The Interceptor's records fall. But your hero will go down as the most prolific turnover artist in the history of the NFL with his interception and fumble records which will never, ever come close to being broken.
I can't wait to watch the Saints rip him another one again. Anyone else feel the same way? I bet Fail will be shaking like a leaf before he leaves the tunnel to take the field.
I didn't exactly mean for him to get hurt. I meant to be defeated more than anything. And defeated badly. If he does get hurt, oh well. Thems the breaks of football. :star-wars:
I doubt the Saints will get away with any "late hits" in the upcoming match ... - And I am certain the referees will be watching closely ... - The Saints might try the same game plan as they did last season during the NFC Championship game, but I don't think they will succeed with it ... In any case, I do think the Vikings will win that game and the Saints will face a difficult season this year ... I wouldn't be surprised to see if they only get a wild card berth this season ...
Nonsense. Why should a QB like Favre flip his lid? If Favre is so much better than Rodgers he would have won that job handily. Favre was slated to be the Packers' starting QB until he tearfully retired in March of 08. The Packers were set to bring him back a few weeks later but Mr. Flip Flop changed his mind yet again. I suspect he wanted to go to YOUR team all along. There is no other plausible explaination for him wanting to leave a team that just a few weeks prior was playing for the conference championship against the G-men. He played the 'retirement' card in both GB and NY to fanagle his way OUT of his contract to become a FA so he could rejoin Bevell. His hatred of TT stems from the fact that TT wouldn't trade him to MN nor give him his unconditional release.
If course he'll say that! He truly doesn't give a rat's *** about the team. If he did he would have been in MN during the offseason. I can't think of another "team leader" that pulls this crap that Farp does, even if he is rehabing. He should take a chapter out of Al Harris' book. He couldn't play but was there at TC getting treatment and cheering on his teammates. :viksux:
