Jay Glazer and Scott Hanson both said the same thing. Looks like Fraud returns yet again. Here's hoping we sweep him this season.

Breaking: Favre is flying to Minnesota

Just saw it on the ESPN Bottomline.

Looks like we have to beat the hillbilly this year if we want that division crown.

    On it.

Not going to lie, I often forget there's an NFL News section.

And I'm still unclear if Favre news is Packer or NFL. If I had news on Reggie, would that be NFL because he last played for Carolina?

When Favre's jersey is retired, that can be Packers news.
As long as Favre is wearing purple, that's either NFL NEWS or Funny Videos Thread.

It'd be fricking awesome if he went to Minnesota just to throw the media into a tizzy and then once he got there announced his retirement.

I have just one question, really.

Did he take that lofty $3Mi payraise? For the love of the game...

But hey, who's counting rings in here? All that matters is if the queens can finish ahead of the Packers...

Would also be sweet if you would stop acting like Favre isn't the Packers all-time great QB and instead look forward to the competition, I mean Rodgers is supposed to be so much better according to all the Packer fans right? So then there shouldn't be an issue....

Your right, but you have already proven to me within the short time I have been here that your just like the rest of Packer fans, living in the past (i.e. video), congrats on the originality.

Favre's a douche. For now. I've already professed my love for Packer Favre once here.

And tell me you wouldn't do backflips if Rodgers retired right now? **** competition. And **** the Vikings. I want to win the Super Bowl. I don't give a crap how we do it.

I know you're probably asking yourself, "I wonder what's it like to have the team I love win a Super Bowl?". Well, it's pretty cool. Feels great.

Also feels great to have a team that's a contender and have it not built with our rival's castoffs. Must suck *** to have your only shot at a Super Bowl be picking a Packers legend off the scrap heap. Couldn't build a winner yourselves, so you had to dip into the guys we didn't want anymore. Have fun with that. We'll take Rodgers for the next decade and dominate, you can have Favre for 2 years and watch him break your heart over and over again. It gets old.

    Favre Vikings smacktalk

This is by far the most selfish comment I have ever read while being on ANY forum. Starr doesn't come close to being the Packers best QB, and he wasn't that when Brett was all lovey dovey with the organization either now was he? It's ALL Ted's fault, yet you blame BF, wow, how ironic! Another thing, he sure is the interceptor, yet is the only reason why your franchise has anything in terms of a trophy since 1968, so think about that...42 years without winning anything if it weren't for BF, yet the best you can come up with is Mr. Interception eh? What about record holder in yards, td's, etc etc? Nope, of course not. BTW, the only reason why Favre didn't get traded like Hornung and CO. is because management wouldn't do it, they would not show Brett the honor to abide by his wishes after all the man has done for the Packers, and that was not the case with Hornung, he got his wish, so no comparison there is considered "fair"; 2 completely different times and scenarios. Maybe if the GM wouldn't have asked the HOF to compete, Brett wouldn't have gotten upset, but again, it's not anyones fault but BF for demanding a trade (and not receiving one) until the Jets came into play. What other option did Brett have but to retire and have it his way, it shouldn't be the Packers way, what about that don't you get? Brett is a human being that gave his ALL for the teams he played for and the entire organization until someone decided to turn their backs (Thompson and CO.), so what do you expect, some saint to rise up and pretend like his days in GB weren't appreciated? The same thing happened with Montana and SF, they didn't want him back b/c they wanted to move forward, so luckily the team was willing to trade Joe to the Chiefs, but the Pack told Favre they weren't going to do that, they weren't going to trade their guy, and who is selfish again? We are talking about a person here, not some animal, Brett should have the right to demand a trade, and to have it honored for the time and effort he gave to GB! The funniest thing is nobody EVER complained about Joe pertaining to SF like GB has towards Favre, not even close! And Joe won multiple SB's with them, not 1 like Favre. I think the fans of GB/Favre have shown their true colors and nothing more, there are far too many crybaby, poor-sport, childish, selfish, etc etc fans in GB, and the Montana/Favre examples surely prove that "theory", not just support/suggest it!

Ted retired twice that summer? Ted was too selfish to compete for his job in camp?

    I didn't know that.

All Thompson did that summer was watch Favre become a selfish, indecisive child who became too big a problem to keep dealing with year after year. So he traded the problem, because that's what you do with problems, you get rid of them.

Actually, Starr is the all-time great QB of the Packers.

You know why? I'll give you one chance. It has something to do with what the Packers have plenty and the Vikings have none.

Exactly, so what is the problem then? Both men got their wishes, so why is only Favre's fault again? Because he was/is a HOF and was asked to compete? Being selfish, and being disrespected are two different things man, yet it's only BF who is to blame. What happened to "two sided disagreeing and moving on"? Why is their so much hate towards Favre? Just because he didn't want to give in and be a "possible" 2nd string? How can you blame him? Has ALL Favre haters not see Favre has his greatest statistical career 2 years AFTER he was asked to compete with Aaron Rodgers? Don't get me wrong, Aaron is a very good QB, but it's obvious Favre knew that IF he did get beat out, he doesn't belong standing behind ANYONE, PERIOD! For anyone to disagree and think Favre folded to the point of being a back-up is high, plain and simple, and now his post-performances have proved his point, he is nowhere near washed up talent wise!

Edit-Have you or any other PAcker fans thought that the only reason for him retiring twice that summer is because he wasn't sure if he was able to leave the franchise he gave so much for (i.e. second thoughts)? Nope, rather haters would only think that it's nobody's fault but Brett's? How nice it was for ANYONE to challenge a HOF QB with everything left in the tank? Did you not see his TD/INT ratio last year? Ok then, nobody of that caliber should EVER be asked to compete, especially after all he did for GB, ridiculous!

Man, all off season it's been silence from the land of 10,000 delusions and now that a 41 year old QB with a suspect ankle is coming back they are all talking **** at us again. Ugh... Guess when you've never won anything, having Farvt come back must be like winning a SB for them. ROFL

All aboard the U.S.S. Delusions of Grandeur. Definitely the worst bandwagon fans in any sports bar none.

This is gonna be such a fun train wreck to watch. Just like last year.
