The Falcons would be better off going with Schaub...Ron Mexico is a selfish SOB that won't ever win the big game.

I am starting to dislike them more and more after Michael Prick said that everyone could stop questioning his abilities after having a mediocre game and then appointing himself as the King of the NFL.
Before that..... I never even noticed them. :D

Why all the Falcons hate? I'm a diehard Falcons fan but I pull for the Pack any day of the week (except when they play Atlanta). Hell, I almost went out and bought a snapper lawnmower cause Favre was the spokesman on the radio commercial, how sad is that ?

I'm somewhat of a Vick fan and I root for the Falcons(except when they play the Bears) . Vick is amazing on the ground, except when facing the 2005 Bears defense  The guy also does have a cannon but his accuracy/decision making seems to be the problem with his passing game. Not every team can be spoiled at the QB position for 15 seasons like Denver(Elway), Miami(Marino) and Green Bay(Favre) have been. Sure Vick isn't a passing QB but the Falcons have been pretty competetive since he's been the QB and who said you need over 300 yds a game passing to win football games or be a playmaker(see Kyle Orton,2005). Didn't that same Vick lead the Falcons to the NFC championship game in 2004, one season after they put up a 5-11 record( No NFC team was going to beat the Eagles that season)? Where were the Packers that season with Favre?(No that is not a slam on the 2004 Packers because my Bears weren't even in the playoffs that season...again :x ). The main role of a QB is to be the field general of the offense and lead a team to victory, hasn't Vick done a pretty decent job of that? he's started 3 seasons and hasn't had a losing record yet. In 2003 it was Doug Johnson that killed that team(5-11). I think Vick should continue to do his magic on the ground and not try to change his game(become a 300 ypg passer) to meet the stereotypical standards that defines someone as a good if not great QB. Is he overrated? depends on how you look at it. My point is the guy is a speedy playmaker and that is what he's getting paid for.

I'm pretty sure that commercial is gonna be the extent of Favre's career from here on out. I don't think he's got another year of getting slammed around in him. Not to mention since the Falcons have traded for John Abraham. That makes four pro bowlers up front and I doubt he wants any of that. So... happy grass cutting Mr. Favre.
