Only if he can get time to pass in the pocket. There are three free agents on the Pack O-Line right now and no one coming up through the ranks from the draft.

You put a stout O-line with the Pack and that would pretty solid Team but man Rodgers is getting pounded and at some point you have to worry about his health. The 5th year of investment into the guy and for him to have season ending or career ending injury would be devastateing.

If it was just the OL it would be an easy problem to fix. But it's the penalties, same thing as last year, it's the poor defensive play, same thing as last year, it's the poor ST play, same thing as last year... Bottom line, it's gonna take a really competent GM and HC to make things happen. Comparing our team with the rest of the league, I think, talent-wise, we're close to the top players. But the consistent play simply isn't there. Jolly is capable of making the most acrobatic INT a DL has ever done, and completely blew a drive because of a stupid penalty.

Agreed but I would venture to say your record could be 6-1 or 5-2 if you give up half of the sacks so really that says alot about rodgers,Driver, jennings and Lee. McCarthys teams have proved to be undisclipined for awhile with leading the league in penaltys. At some point you can't just blame the players and since McCarthy has called out Jolly to the press it doesn't look good.
