Ex-Viking Fan 2

Just want to introduce my self as a new packer fan, even though the puke green color and piss yellow wants to make me vommit; Go pack go and what not. I feel like crying with the rest of you about the brett favre fiasco, I just hate those Vikings I know they are alot better team than us but we have to keep the faith:jester:Can you guys get me one those blocks of cheese as i want to look like an idiot like the rest of you

Skol_guy, I enjoy reading your posts and you bring great counter-points to a good discussion. However, when you make posts like this its just kind of annoying. I never know if i'm going to get a good post from you or one like this when I see your name in the posted or last replied place.

Well since it got moved to the smack area I have no issue with it. I just don't like when skol posts smack all over on different forums that are intended for discussion not smack. That's my only issue. I know when I look at one of his posts in the smack forum ahead of time what i'm getting into. But when it's in a discussion about a player or an upcoming game, and I have to read for the 20th time about Jared Allen... it's just irritating. He kicked our ***, how many times do we have to hear about it?

Yeah I know but on this end pretty much the same story. Some these guys are pretty cool on here. None of us had anything to do with what Favre did or didn't do so to hear the same old crap day in and day out is stale as well. I would rather hear about who won today then who is going to win today if you know what I mean.Everybody is telling me what is going to happen to favre. I would rather watch it unfold.This is total change from the jets situation. He wanted to be here last year for one. The Vikings run a west coast offense the jets do not. Favre could write the vikings playbook with his knowledge.He has a huge O-Line and the best running back on the planet. He is only throwing 30 times a game instead of 45-50 and he didn't go through the wear and tear of camp. So maybe he will be fresh come week 17.

Smack area is all good... Well, except cursing and such...

BTW, don't you worry, Skol Guy. Soon enough you'll have to choose to root for either the Packers or the Bears, if you'll want to attend games

I do get sick of hearing about favre myself. He's gone no sense in bitching over it. I'd like to see how it unfolds as well. Because with him, you never know until its finalized.

Those foam Cheesehead things have sort of died off imo. I never liked em. Watch some games from the 80's. Not a God damn Jersey or packer colors anywhere in the crowds. Pretty amazing how marketing has taken over now to where you have to wear your team's colors to the game.
