Thanks BearDown! It was nice to see you actually give the Packers props for their win. You seem to be a real decent person!
I agree with what you are saying by the way. It's true the Vick thing has destroyed their team, making them not too hard to beat. And the Raiders are, well, the RAIDERS! The Bears D looked pretty darn tough against an excellent opponent.
Its gonna be an exciting year!

one of the things i am most looking forward to is that great bears D against a spectacular Lion's O. I know the season just started but our receivers are unreal. if the offensive line holds up and we get a running game going this could be an amazing year. they are fun to watch....win or lose. I think it will be one of the best match ups all year. the vikings next week; honestly i have no idea how that is going to go. But I am optimistic.

1 game against the Raiders does not give you the right to use the word 'spectactular' in front of the words 'Lion's O'.

mike martz, roy williams, calvin johnson, mike furry, and sean mcdonald make it spectacular. even if it was preseason 500 yards passing is damn good. and that was with 3 different qb's. you'll see it. don't worry. oh and the raiders had the best pass defense in the league last year. get over it 4th, they will be awesome.

The Raiders were first in passing def last year because they always were so far down, nobody needed to pass on them at the end of a game...

Our Packers offense sucked this week for sure, our only Td came off a muffed punt, WTF Brett, Marino is waiting? At least our our offense scored 2 more field goals than the Bears but granted we played the Eagles defense, who looked like absolute shiat and doesn't hold a candle to San Diego's, and the Bears played a top 5 defense, maybe top3 in San diego's on the road. Our defense looked great. If we can hold LT to 25 yards and a score I'd be happy even if we did lose to an AFC team with a top 5 defense and the best runningback and Tight end in football. I'm not sleeping on the Bears or their offense just yet until they stink it up on a regular basis(praying). I think Favre's and Grossman's ratings were close this week and that's just uncalled for.

Seriously dude, your Lions played the worst team in football. If you guys can be San Diego or Denver or Dallas, I'll be impressed. Lions fans have spewed this nonsense after the first 1-3 weeks for eternity now and it never comes together for them come mid season. Good Luck with John Kitna.

then be impressed. we beat Dallas the last game of the season last year. ANd it wasn't like it was a throw away game, they needed to win. That's ok. We may not be world beaters, but while the lion's continue to improve the packers keep going down the drain. In two weeks we play the Eagles, I guess we'll have a pretty good gauge on which team is better after that. By the way we usually aren't this optimistic once the season starts. usually we only spew "this nonsense" in the offseason. We just finally have something to look forward to this year.
