No probs! was just leafing through it at the newsagents when i saw the article with HSV colours on it. I thought i better tell you about it. I'm very selective these days and always now look before i buy, but i'm getting this months issue no doubt. ;)

This made me laugh guess the cherub! :D

You definitely shouldnt miss this issue, many more great articles this month. :)
Loved to read about the guys who live their dream by playing for the team they cheered for when they were young.
Not very surprising that they chose Steven Gerrard again but I found it very interesting to read about the guy from Swansea (Ben Davies) or Danny Kedwell from Gillinham.

:D Yeah, funny pictures but surprisingly the oldest picture on the bottom left helps to find out that this is Frank Lampard.
Just compare the faces, he hasnt changed very much ;)

I got it today, also liked the Davie Moyes article. He's come along way since i last saw him playing for Celtic boys club in 1980 with what looked like a ginger afro haircut.:) Unusually for me i also got a newspaper shock horror! well my excuse is its not often a Scottish person wins Wimbledon! Was really hoping Germany's Sabine Lisicki would win the ladies shes great, always smiling i'm sure she will win it one day.

Even at that age with all the puppy fat its obvious its Lamps, you no doubt easily guessed the goalie with the helmet is above him Petr Čech. And Torres is the one on the right.

Aaaah, sorry packerFan71, I forgot to write that I had no idea ;)
Frank Lampard was easy to guess, but the other ones....no chance :D

Havent read the Moyes article yet, but loved the "The Best Football Fakes" article....:roflmao:
Not really surprised that Diego Maradona was on coke those days but having a pump with someone else`s urine to cheat the drug tests is hilarious.
Wouldnt work nowadays ;)

Guess for whome we cheered for at Wimbledon final.
But who won the final now - a Brit or a Scot ?;)
Though I'm not Scottish to me its no question, a Scot won the Championship, after 77 years
this is something Andy Murray and every Scot can be proud of !
We watched parts of the Womes Final at Festival Square, there they had a huge TV screen.
Sabine obviously was too nervous, its a pity :(
And on Friday night we watched Andy Murrays semi-final win at a pub, i took a picture with my iphone ;)

Ahh maybe harder than i thought, got them easily. But i think thats because i see their pictures quite alot.
Look forward to reading all the other bits.:)
I have jinxed Murray by watching him before so i don't now, but always see the full game later. Murray did really well, he's 100% Scottish and a Hibs fan, ;) but the Wimbledon LTA haven't had a champion as you said since like forever. There is the constant "77 year wait for Britain" mantra, not a mention of the ''117 year wait for Scotland.'' They even have Laura Robson who was born in Australia with Australian parents playing as British??!! They grab anyone who they think has half a chance, was strange seeing a guy wearing an England shirt with Come on Andy on it.

Nice pic collectors item!

Sabine is lovely and a top player, the occasion got to her this time. She will win it sooner or later no question.

And so it begins Pre season training at Cobham Yay!

Beside Jose and Schurrle I cant recognize the other players.
Any idea who they are, PackerFan71 ?
Sitting on the ground left, right and in the middle...?

Just read this in German media as well - its sad:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-slumped-drunk-sick-outside-London-hotel.html

Could be Gary Cahill, more than likely Ba and going by the boots possibly Lamps?

I think they are checking to see if Essien still has a pulse after his year long Madrid Holiday. ;)

Gascoigne is almost a lost cause, no one is beyond help but he can only help himself. A talent on the pitch, but his disease and lack of maturity seem to be too much for him. I think he has a lot of trouble being himself bottom line. I remember the story of him taking a terminally ill kid to the Rangers store and buying him nearly one of everything they had. Hes not stupid or bad at all (although his ex wife may disagree) just a bit silly and childlike, but hes got serious issues. Sadly i think another George Best waiting to happen.

Like Father, like Son.

I never paid attention to Lamps boots  Does he usually wears a white pair of boots?

Hmm, whats even more interesting - who is taking his pulse ?
Isnt it Eva Carneiro ?:)
If so I guess his pulse should be quite high....:D

Agree, Im afraid there is not much hope left for him. :(
Always admired him as a player and its sad to see how he throws away his life.

The Terrys are a nice family

Id say so we could get rid of any player and that would be ok but if EC was moved on there would be hell on! even the opposition fans like her. In all seriousness shes very good at what she does and highly intelligent, i think also they like to have a lady about the place good for morale. Good article, Oh gowd AVB i suppose we can at least thank him for EC, as well as him going away. ;)

From 2009, copy and save and zoom if you'd like to read without a magnifying glass. ;)

Don't know of Bony at all but thats a good return, Celtic also had a good return they sold Victor Wanyama for £12.5m (he scored against Barca) good bit of business considering they bought him for under £1m.

I wonder if you can really make money with these teams ?

Nothing but the truth, I didnt even know that Michael Jackson was a football fan ?
Always thought he was more interested in.....you know what I mean....

I very much doubt it, i know next nothing about the Jaguars other than the fact that they are never contenders and they are constantly changing their logo. Ha he should be right at home at Fulham! ;)

He wasn't as you know doubt know, it was all a publicity stunt by Al Fayed the former owner. If i was one of their fans id would want rid of that thing outside their stadium, but im not so i hope they keep it. Its totally embarrassing, yep i know exactly what you mean. :speechless:

PackerFan71, just found these shirts on our No1 football site, kicker.de
http://fanshop.kicker.de/internationale-vereine/retro-trikots.html
I quite like the 1984 Chelsea shirt, whats your favourite ? ;)

Some nice shirts there, the only thing they lack is a kit brand logo Bummer........... I'm a stickler for detail. ;)
The Chelsea 84 is good yep. I like also the Everton 84
Not sure if i showed you this before possibly i did.

I know, thats the only downside  ;)

Yeah, you already showed me this site, nice shirts as well but dont ask me why - always prefered to buy unworn shirts whats quite difficult or even impossible if you'd like to buy authentic shirts from the 70's, 80's or 90's.

Still have this shirt:
http://www.classicfootballshirts.co.../scotland/2002-03-scotland-home-shirt-xl.html

And this one:
http://www.classicfootballshirts.co...cotland/dd1998-00-scotland-home-shirt-xl.html
Doesnt look like I could make a lot of money by selling them.
Whatever ! I wont sell them anyway ;)

Havent seen this video before.....
"Mario....dont touch anybody, play only with the ball, when we lose the ball - no reaction.....46 th minute, red
card" :roflmao:
Man, Balotelli is as dumb as a post ! :D

Edit: Found this NYT article about Fulham and his new and old owner quite interesting

I know what you mean, but the used ones i have i dont really wear them anyway. They are just nice to have as collectors items. 70's, shirts are very rare now and sky high in price, but in all honesty i didn't like most of them the 80s versions were a bit better though.

If you hang onto your shirts they will increase in value thats for sure. I would never sell either. I have the Fila shirt before that one which was ok but but not brilliant and i also have 98 world cup shirt its almost in mint condition.

I still have this one, identical but without the world cup 1986 but it has 7 on the back good price!
http://www.classicfootballshirts.co...and/1986-scotland-world-cup-home-shirt-s.html

And in homage to the German team of 96 for their semi final win i used to have this one, good work chaps! ;)
http://www.classicfootballshirts.co...ny/1996-98-germany-wm2006-home-shirt-xxl.html

Balotelli is the ultimate space cadet, if Jose cant help him hes got no chance.:roflmao:

A little trip to the Championship for them would be good.:D

Who was Scotlands No.7 in 86 ?

In my opinion one of the best German shirts is this one, classic design:

I liked that one aswell, because its very similar to euro 96 version.

Ivanovich is forgiving and apparently not afraid of Vampires, but i would not want Suarez at all. I have had enough of under performing former liverpool players.

But what does Jose means with "something becomes true":confused:
As a Chelsea fan I would be scared now, perhaps Suarez will be playing for the Blues soon ?! :D

Luxury problem, PackerFan71, thats a luxury problem because Chelsea usually plays Champions League every year.
So I agree that its not very attractive for Chelsea to play there.
But I would take a Europa League starting place for Hamburg immediately ;)
I am missing international matches during the week :(

Thats typical Mourinho, hes playing games there he knows exactly whats going to happen in terms of who's coming in but hes not letting on. I'm not scared because it s not my money they are spending. ;) Id prefer Rooney to the Vampire to be honest.

Winning the Europa League was nice, but id rather have got out of the Group at the first stage of the CL instead.
