Thank you for showing some class, unlike a handful of other Giants fans who came here to troll in the past (not all of you, per se, some were actually cool/objective like NYG, SNAP, and meyerbudNYG ;) ), and to be fair, I'm pretty sure the OP was just made this thread (as well as the one pointing out Eli is ranked #31 in the NFL top 100) in response to said Giants trolls, specifically the one who kept going around saying "Eli is better than Rodgers" (the one who's been banned and came back under a new account more times than I can count; seriously, he's made so many sock accounts I can't even remember what his original SN was, but I think you know who I'm talking about). I don't think anyone here is seriously saying Eli isn't a top tier quarterback, or at the very least a 2nd tier QB. I do think some people overrate him a *little bit* (to be fair, I also think Tony Romo gets a little more flack for DAL losses than he deserves by most people, but I still have Eli ranked higher than him, at least), but he's still a top 5 QB for sure, and I don't think that's at all biased because most other fans that I've seen put him anywhere between #4-6 as well (some have even put him below the top 5, but still in the top 10 QBs, which that, I think, is slightly underrating him). Kudos on the win at Dallas (still unbeaten in Jerry World I see ;) ), and good luck against Pittsburgh on Sunday. Hopefully, both our teams can win out the next couple games so we both have all the momentum when we meet on Nov. 25th. :)

(BTW, I was actually rooting for the Giants against the Pats in the Super Bowl last February, as were virtually everyone except NE fans/other NFC East team's fans ;) )

The argument for best QB in NFL this year is going to be between Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. All three of those guys are playing at a very high level right now. Eli Manning and NY Giants offense are very inconcistent so far but I think we will turn it around in second half of season.

More than likely Eli Manning will never have the stats required to win regular season MVP but he is top tier and there is not any other QB I would want leading NY Giants. He is our leader and he is the best clutch QB in NFL.

^ Eli had the yardage last season ( 5000+ ), but he had like 26 td's and 16 int's (if i remember right)
    whereas Rodgers had 45xx yards and 45 td's and 6 int's.

If Eli could have lowered his picks and tossed 15 more td's, it would have been a coin flip to who got the MVP

Heck, although he is a defensive player, I think the NY Giant with the best chance to win NFL regular season MVP some time in the next few seasons is this guy-

Eli will probably never get the recognition he deserves until he gets inducted into the HOF. Granted he does have 2 SB rings I don't believe he's a better QB than Rodgers
