Driver is probably the one guy we can least afford to lose, I don't understand with Favre out why he would still be in the game. Getting carted off the field probably means he is out for the minimum of a couple weeks which leaves us with Jones and Jennings as the starters going into week 1.

Injuries to the arch are bad. I've had an injury there myself. You can still play if your tough, but EVERY step hurts like a *****--even with taped cleats.
Hopefully it's not in the arch.

MM just said on the post-game show that Driver has a sprained foot. No word on how serious.

Remember though that Fergie had what they called a foot sprain which kept him out for a few weeks. No diagnosis as to how long he'll be out yet, but everyone is supposed to be in positive spirits about the injury.

Sure, it's bad that DD got hurt but for once we have two other WRs who can stretch the field...Jones and Jennings. Jackson could also be a weapon in the passing game. So it could be a hellofalot worse.

Driver's one of the toughest WRs in the NFL. Remember that horrible landing on his head that would have ended any other WR in the NFL's career several years back? Well, Driver was only out for one game, IIRC.
I have faith Driver will be starting by regular season and will finish this year 1200+ yards and 8+ TDs like he always does.

It looks like Jones and Jennings are going to have to grow up pretty quick if Driver misses any significant time. Injuries suck, but they do happen. Hopefully it's nothing to serious and he won't miss more than a few weeks tops.

I don't think it will be a huuge deal, but will probably make it harder to win the Philly game. More pressure on that D.
On the bright side, maybe this will help Jennings and Jones really break out?

Looks like Driver only sprained his ankle according to packersnews.com.
Hopefully he won't miss more than a few weeks because of it.

I think it was good for Aaron Rodgers to get a chance to play with Driver and the other starters. Anytime a player is on the field, he can get injured. I think Ferguson missed the last 12 games of last season with a foot sprain, but that was unusual, and that was Ferguson. Hopefully Driver can be back for the season opener.
