Anyone knows why do Green Bay and Philadelphia exchange picks every two rounds?

    1st round: GB 23
    PHI 24
    2nd round: PHI: 23
    GB: 24
    3rd round: GB: 23
    PHI: 24
    4th round: PHI: 23
    GB: 24

    And so on...

Once the order for the first round of the draft is determined....teams that have the same record and had the same performance in the playoffs cycle picks for the rest of the draft. Basically because the Pack and the Eagles had the same record and both lost in the Wild Card round, they will take turns drafting in front of each other for rounds 2 through 6.
