    You are still hurt

Please play in Week 17 vs Cleveland injured or not so you can enter the playoffs and play like you did against SF (3 INT's, 1 Fumble - 4 Total Turnovers) that way Packer fans don't have to worry about the Stealers anymore in the post season.

    Thank you.

Steelers lose in the first round, I will be laughing all the way to the bank!

Ben isn't play vs. the Rams this week right?

Probably better off. But, just watch. WATCH. This ankle thing will haunt him through the playoffs. He will play it up, milk it up and be called a warrior if they win games.

This is the secret section of the forum. Where we talk trash and speculate full time.

Bogart, you and I both know the chances of the Steelers going away soon is not likely to happen. It's how they operate. It's how the league operates. It is even better since they have the ankle drama now which can continue on and on until through a potential Super Bowl berth. It will help Ben gain sympathy.

Now here is what is going to happen. It does not even matter if the Steelers get the division or not. They will slug along long enough.

I still think it might be a Packers/Steelers rematch. It's been in my gut all season despite trying to fight it. The league is overdue for a rematch and someone promised me before the season started it would happen. So, we'll see.

I simply have a tough time imagining two poor defensive teams BOTH making it to the SB too. That just defies everything. The Packers have a better shot then the Pats due to the defenses in the NFC compared to the AFC. Only the 49ers can potentially shut down the Packers O and even then I would laugh at Alex Smith and I don't even know if they make it far enough to the title game.

My only hope is the Chargers still if they can get in and Buffalo takes care of business tomorrow. Even then though the Steelers own the Chargers. Oh and the Pats. Most have them in the SB. Could happen but I sense the more physical team again may beat them AGAIN. That D is just horrible. If the Pack think they have a bad D at least they have some legit talent on it. The Pats have like Wilfork........oh and Wilfork. If Brady can carry them to a SB by himself I will be impressed but I have seen this movie before with the Colts and Pats.

Yeah you're right, the refs will surely help them get there one way or another. I'm actually shocked the refs weren't desperately helping them against SF, cause I tell ya, anytime the Steelers are down 14-0, you start to see flags come out much more often than normal. The league can come out and admit it that they favor Pittsburgh and New England over all other teams in the league, because no one has had more help getting to a Super Bowl without the refs or winning a Super Bowl without them.

I just don't want the Steelers in the Super Bowl, my god that would suck. I would rather get Tom Brady and New England so I can sit there and talk about his hair and how he thinks he's in a 70's Rock and Roll band. You would think Brady was on his way home from seeing Iron Maiden, (well he looks like I did about 10 years ago when I was driving home from seeing Ozzy lol, and that's kinda embarrassing now that I'm grown)

I was nervous about playing Pittsburgh in the Super Bowl because of the refs. And sure enough, we did have to fight against the refs in that game. The moment it was 14-0, flags started to fly. It's like the NFL MUST keep the Steelers in the game like the NBA has done to the Lakers the last decade (Pretty bad when refs even admitted to helping them beat the Kings and Trail Blazers)

I don't think Pittsburgh is a complete team to be honest.
That defense is good overall, that offense is below elite, but most of all....that schedule, omg anyone could win 10 games when your only tough games are Houston, Baltimore (twice) and San Francisco.
One thing you can't really tell with that defense is they can get tired vs the pass. Packers I think tired them down in the Super Bowl. Troy Polamalu looked lost out there trying to cover Jennings, and overall they looked like what they truly were without the refs; LOSERS.

Pittsburgh has to make any fan nervous because the officials though. We all know they won a Super Bowl thanks to blown calls against Seattle, and with over 100 yards on 11 penalties against Arizona, I think the Cardinals and Kurt Warner would have beat them had that game been fairly officiated. The Pack would have really blown them out without the dropped passes, and Woodson going down (Charles was bound for an interception in the Super Bowl, he would got it)

I know deep down when they beat the Colts in the playoffs in 2005 you had to feel like the refs were out to get Indy, cause there were blown calls in that game too as there was that entire post season for Pittsburgh, especially the Super Bowl. Fairly officiated, the Steelers would have lost both those Super Bowls, and without a few drops last year, GB would have blown them out.

I hear ya on the Brady hair thing but I think I am tired of it since I have been doing it for a few years now. I don't know what to think of NE at times. The AFC might be bad enough they could do it but at the same time I feel like I have seen this movie before lately and a team will punch him in the mouth a few times. Stall a few Pats drives and then eat up clock with their own offense. Lets not forget when the Pats went to Pittsburgh this year they did not have James Harrison either.

Not sure. Just not sure I am feeling a Packers/Pats SB like most. Seems strange and hard to believe. It's the ultimate QB game but also defies logic without a top D. And since the NFC lacks an elite D it seems other then SF I think the AFC is more likely to send the elite D vs. the elite O.

Now the Steelers. Well they should still beat the Rams without Ben. Like you I was suprised they did not get the ref help vs. SF.Whats the plan here with that? I guess the league did not want the Steelers to be the first seed after all.

As for the Colts/Steelers divisonal game...such a haunting game. We beat them in the regular season. Cowher went to the passing game early when we expected the run and it caught Dungy and company with their pants down. They didn't expect it.

Did you see Ben look up the heaven's a few times in the game Monday night? Before the game and after the long FG. What a good guy he is......

The best hope again is the Chargers. If they feel like playing well they can have a top O and decent D. They have to get in though. It's up to you Bills. Do it.

According to today's headlines he had a little setback. When I read that I wondered if it was about his marriage taking him out of the bars.
