Do you have a link? Not that I'm skeptical, but I think the same report came out last fall.

It's true. It is now being reported worldwide. The cause of death has not been reported yet but a police spokesperson came and stated there were no signs of criminal activity.

    Amy Whino-House wasn't that unexpected.
For some reason, this one was.
But why can't it be Lindsay Lohan instead?

When it's your time to go it's your time to go. Think about it as when your born they turn the "hour glass" over. When the last grain of sand drops your time is up.

Out of all the celebs with problems, Whitney was the one who really seemed like a victim and you were pulling for.

Very selfish move, but she made sure to do it in both: Black History Month, and Grammy Weekend. Even more selfish.
The sad thing is she'll be getting glorified all day long instead of being made out to be exactly what she was: selfish, cowardly loser.

Cause of death is still unknown.

The superstar singer and actress's publicist, Kristin Foster, broke the news of Houston's passing to the AP, but thus far, no cause of death has been revealed.
She was found at the Beverly Hills Hilton. The showbiz website TMZ reports that the singer was found in the bath, and that while no illegal drugs had been seized by police, prescription drugs have been found in Houston's room.

She drowned in her bathtub at 4pm. She had made it public she did cocaine and marijuana laced with rocks. Unless she had a heart attack or some other natural death then we can safely assume whatever happened was self induced.

You of all people should know not to judge on what APPEARS to be true.

It very well could be she was drugged up and passed out in the tub and drowned on ACCIDENT

but we do not know for a fact, so stop acting like it is a fact

CNN said the police asked that they put a seal on the outcome of the reason/cause of her death. CNN said it could be up to 8 weeks. Any rumors of suicide ARE NOT TRUE! I'm not a huge Whitney Houston fan. Please don't spread rumors that you wouldn't want people to spread about you or a family member. Treat others as you want to be treated.

It's always been very interesting, especially during huge news stories, that my wife from her Hong Kong, Chinese websites always gets earlier scoops, info, than we do, particularily from CNN.

I'm not sure what it is, and I denied it for a few years, but I think it's because they aren't subject to quite the lawsuits we are in the USA media?

This includes graphic photos, by the way.

She's on a cruise right now, otherwise I bet I could reveal some info that doesn't come to us for awhile.....

Rest in peace Whitney, and my condolences to her mom, and her children, who never asked for her mom to follow her dad into that drug culture. Sad.

(I don't wish this on anyone, harsh or not. I just don't blame society or the drug salesmen. I blame the ones who choose to turn to drugs like these...)

Noone is claiming she committed suicide. But my point is that if she was on a drug and then proceeded to take a bath then that is a self induced death. They already said it looked like noone attempted to murder her.

Did you know that Whitney Houston's debut LP called simply "Whitney Houston" had 4 number one singles on it? Did you know that, Christie?

I'll wait until we get official reports before speculating or judging.

      Found dead in a bathtub.
      Past use of heavy drugs.
      A famous singer.
      Reminds me of Jim Morrison.
It also reminds me of Michael Jackson because I didn't see that one coming either.

Does anyone know why it takes so long for toxicology test results while doing a drug test still alive doesn't take 4-8 weeks?
