I haven't seen anyone talking about him? I can't believe I am the first. He would make a huge HUGE difference in the return game. I am guessing he is going to be extremely expensive, but am I the only one who would like to see him in the Green and Gold?

I too would love to see him signed. Helps our anemic special teams, and could be our third down specialist.

Wouldnt mind to see him come in and split carries with Grant. He has vision and is quick enough to act on what he see's fast. He is explosive and a smart player.. Improves our run game and our return game... Would love to see it, but doubt we will

I really don't believe he will be asking for featured back money. SD was literally paying him NOTHING, I think if we could pay him around $5 Mil a year for 4 years, that would be perfect. Not big money, but respectable.

I mean hell, it sounds like the Bears are pushing to get Julius Peppers, we have to do SOMETHING in free agency to get better.

LOL. I agree to fill all our holes, we need FA.

But to do something for the sake of the Bears doing something... The Bears pratically don't have any picks in the draft...

Plus, we're a much better, younger team than them...

I was kind of putting together a formula in my head of what we need to be superbowl champs next year. The first part (and most important)... the draft, we have to draft the right guys for our needs and at least TWO of those picks need to have an big impact right way. Anymore more then two is just gravy. The second part is getting a free agent or two that have good years. Those combined with the 2009 team having a similar performance from last year. I really believe would equal a superbowl championship.

I WANT!

Seriously. Sproles would add so much to our team. If TT doesn't seriously consider this he needs to be fired.

TT considering top FA's? Have you all been living on another planet the last 5 years? Not going to happen. He will draft and then give lip service to us about FA. You have a better chance seeing an old guy float down your street in a big boat with animals on it than you would seeing TT be active here.

TT will consider it, he just never pulls the trigger. The man is gunshy whenever dollars come up in the conversation.

Agreed. It's fun to dream, but past history says this won't happen. Charles Woodson and Ryan Pickett have been Packers for awhile and they're the last free agents of consequence I remember him signing.

Still, it's fun to dream. Maybe i'll trade for Sproles when Madden 11 comes out.

I can't wait for Madden 11. We should start a Packerforum league for online play.

I know I'm crazy, I know this isn't Madden this is real life, but I still would. I think he could make that big a difference for our team.

I do too. Sproles would kill in our kick game and be a great complimentary back to Grant. Would add some serious quick strike fire power to our offense and special teams. Dude is fast as hell.

Yep....no chance at getting Sproles. I guess the Chargers decided they still wanted him. Totally understandable. I think he's a really good back.
