An update:

Daren Sharper's discharge from University Medical Center was delayed due to an acute case of indigestion that developed after eating his words Sunday.

He is expected to be released tomorrow. His physician has recommended that he stay at home, not face the public, and most importantly keep his mouth shut.

He is expected to return to limited practice. Coach Brad Childress said he "would take it easy on Darren". He also explained that a butt chewing does no good when it is torched that badly.

Neither Sharper or his agent could be reached for comment.
