Wow this was a rough Thread..But all things said a Kicker is hired to Kick FG's..though many of us Packers fans are patient, when your Number is called to perform you must perform.....

IR Driver so he doesn't look like a clown for coming back this year and taking a roster spot and then sign a FG specialist for 45 and in and keep crosby for kickoffs and 45 +

Discover a heretofore unknown injury that allows you to IR him so he can work it out through next training camp.

I think MM will give him 1 final chance against Tenn, if he takes a dump then he will be watching the Packers at home...

I do not trust Crosby at 45+...missed a 50 some yarder and a 42 yd field goal today. The guy struggles with chip shots I say just cut him.

We cant count on him anymore. You can talk all you want about the hold, the snap, or the wind direction but the team needs to move in a different direction. Enough excuses.

Hey, the good news is that McCarthy has to go for it on 4th and whatever whenever we are inside the 40.

Rodgers just got an extra down to work with! Woot!

contributed next to nothing this season, with losing jennings, driver, and finley next season I wish they would have paced it out better and said goodbye to driver earlier in the season.

As far as Crosby, time to say goodbye. My knowledge of available kickers is next to nil so I cant say who should be brought in.

Jimmy Johnson would have cut him seven games ago. Once its in their head, its time for a new kicker.

The guy has absolutely no confidence. He's psyched out and it just isn't getting any better.

Part of me likes MM's allegiance to his players and coaches, part of me hates it. He's treating this guy like a buddy, not a subordinate.

Crosby is not doing his job...anybody else on this team that sucks the way he is sucking, would sit on the bench. Why this kid is untouchable to the point that you don't even take a look at other kickers is beyond me. I'm sorry but Crosby sucks...it hurts nothing to bring in kickers for a look. Mind boggling.

JJ said that exact thing today. Once a kicker gets in their head that they are struggling, they're done.

Here's my argument to cut him: He's a "kicker". Kicking is in his job title. If you can't kick, you're no longer a kicker. Find somebody who can.

Its not that he is just missing a little. He is missing horribly. His timing and confidence are shot.

Let Harrell or Cobb be the holder. By doing that, you break up the routine and make him worry about something else. Kicking will no longer be automatic.

We have very little chance at going far in the playoffs if we don't have a FG kicker we can rely on.

Matt Flynn to kick FGs. Seattle doesn't need him.

Sorry.....I can no longer root for "missin crosby". 8 weeks in a row with missed field goals. 8 weeks constitutes WAY more than a slump, his position needs to be upgraded ASAP !!! Look at what the bears did, gould went down with an injury, Orlindo Mare steps in old as dirt and out of retirement and kicks 2 dead on field goals right down the pipes. Missin crosby is a head case, plain and simple. I don't give 2 sh!ts what others on here say about the holder not getting the ball spot down correctly, or his mechanics were off, or the laces were not out....blah blah blag BULLSH!T. They showed an up close angle of Missin crosbys first miss, snap was perfect, hold hit the mark, laces were away and what......20 feet wide right.......he is a lost cause. How does anyone expect us to depend on a guy like that this late in the season, he will end up killing us with a lose. He needs to go. There are other free agent kickers out there that would step in off the streets and knock down kicks accurately, like O. Mare did.

Bring longwell in for a workout, I thought he was still available. Josh Brown IS still on the market and hungry for a job, feed the beast I say.

I think they said that yep.
I am saddened thought that Rodgers doesn't look for Jones more often. But I say that about Jennings, Finley, and Boykin too.... and Jordy when he's in there.

This is like Groundhog Day the Movie..... that article sums it up right?
But it's from 6 weeks ago..... this guy just sucks period and we've said it time and time again...

I would have much more confidence in Ryan Longwell from 44 yards and the game on the line than Crosby.
    Anyone else?
Hell, a 51-year old Chris Jacke would have a better chance than Crosby.
