I am seeing a number of posters whose posts, and sign offs, have a very familiar ring to them from the NC forum. But, given my crappy memory, I cannot make the connection.

Former NC posters with new names, please provide old name and new name so I can figure out who the heck you are.

You did not hear the story behind Cheesy Beef. It was a tribute to my uncle who served in Vietnam. After a 3 hour fire fight in which he saved the lives of 5 of his fellow solders, he was given some much needed R&R. He picked up a local working girl who gave him a serious sexually transmitted disease. It left his genitals with open runny gooey sores. From that day forward he was forever known as "Cheesy Beef"
