    Regarding the offensive line, McCarthy noted that veteran left tackleChad Clifton[IMG], who has been out since injuring his hamstring in Week 5 at Atlanta, might return for the Dec. 4 game against the New York Giants. He called that “realistic” if Clifton stays on schedule with his recovery.

    Aside from getting owned by Allen last week Newhouse hasn't been that much of a downgrade. Its nice not having Clifton's 2 holding penalties per game. Don't get me wrong though.....having both of them available is a good thing as the season goes on.
