Chargers prove stupidity in "Playing it safe"

    The Chargers had that game and they blew it by playing it safe at the end. They had the ball in OT and instead of trying to get closer for the FG they ran three runs up the middle for a total of 1 yard, missed the field goal, and lost the friggin' game. Football is not a game for the faint at heart, if you want to win you have to keep the pedal to the metal until it's over. How many times have I seen this happen? How many times does a team with a 3 or 4 point lead play it safe towards the end and punt the ball back, only to watch the other team take it in for the winning score. Packers did this with the Eagles last year, twice.

    Lets hope the Packers learned the leson. If they play like they have recently, the pack will win. :D

    Playing "prevent" football is NEVER the way to play in the NFL....ever!

    It's the one thing that Marty Schottenheimer will never learn.

    If Drew Brees has "any" brains at all, he'll have his Agent out there lookin' fer offers immediately and let Philip Rivers deal with that nonsense....
