You need to take care of you! Don't worry, we will somehow get by without you for a while.
Perhaps we can get Clay or A-Rog to guest moderate for you while you are healing up...
    I'll make a few calls.

Good to hear the operation went fine.

Glad to hear you are home, probably much more comfortable for you! Not to go all Momma Cat up in here but if the docs put you on a special diet, like watch your salt and cholesterol and such, please, please, please stick to it! You are gonna need two working legs for jumping up and down on the sofa when the Packers win the SB again next year! :)

Wow you spent all that time on the hospital only on meds and rest? Then again, I'm not a doctor...

Guess it's for the better, though. If you're better and the clot is gone, much better than going through the knife.

People very rarely need surgery for a clot. 99% of the time, they put you on steady levels of blood thinners or drugs that dissolve the clot (depending on how soon after your symptoms start, you get into the hospital). Then they tell you to rest and not move your leg at all. The risk is that pieces of the clot break off, then travel to your lungs.

Actually....Clot still there, could take 2 weeks to stop hurting..Once you get meds inside, the risk of it breaking off is 0...

Rest not recommended as it could led to more clots..

I was able to get up and walk around as much as I can tolerate
