The Bears are currently in first place and if they do win it that will be 9 to 6.
On top of that the Packers are going to suck even more next year when Favre is gone, Green and Walker may not be back and the Bears have one of the youngest teams in the NFL. Which one looks like they are going to be the better team for the next ten years? Hahahahaaaaaaa.....

The Bears are ranked 5th in the league in rushing. The Packers are 30th.
For all of the talk about the Packers offense they are currently ranked 14th thanks to a blow out over the Saints. The Packers have thrown for the most interceptions in the league and that is WITH Favre at QB.

The Bears defense has allowed the fewest points in the NFL and has given up only 9 TDs vs. the Packers 21.
The Bears have given up 11.9 points per game vs., the Packers 20.4 per game while only 3 teams have allowed more TD passes than the Packers defense.
The Bears have allowed the 3rd fewest passing yards in the league and are 2nd only to Cincinnati in interceptions. Their rushing yards per carry allowed are 2nd only to the Steelers.
The Bears are also ranked # 1 in the league in 3rd down % allowed on defense and are ranked as the # 1 overall defense in the NFL.
Still going to say they are in first place because the Packers are sucking? Good luck with the next ten years or so.

Listen Phil it is true that the Bears have won 8 Crowns in the last 35 years. It is premature to crown the bears just yet. I do recognize the D which has been good for the last 5 years but you really have no offense and the reason your Bears are 3rd in rushing is you have a rookie QB that is hit and miss (Flash of Good Flash of bad) GB has the reverse problem. No Running game has dictated The qb to make silly throws moreso than normal. If the Bears get to 9 and six they will wint the division. Personally they finish 8 and 8
