I'm sure I could learn lot's about the Packers from you as well. I try to keep myself fairly updated on what's going on within the division, that's why I'm here. I agree that bashing rivals does make it fun, but I would however, like the entire NFC North to be very competitive, that way the rest of the NFL can't use the "but they're in a weak division" excuse whenever an NFC North team has success. Not all Bear fans are idiots and now I know that there are also some pretty intelligent Packers fans such as yourself out there. I'm actually going to go watch the Packers and the Vikings play the Seahawks this season(Not because I like the Squaks, but because that's the closest I can get to an NFL game cheaply, being in Oregon. It sucks for me because the Seachickens away games are the Detroit and Chicago games this season, Bears won't play them in Seattle until like 2009 :x . I might fly out for the Chicago game against the Squaks at Soldier Field depending on my work schedule etc., It'll probably be a primetime game as well. I'd still rather go to a Bears/Packers game anyday, that's a piece history every year.

Packersacker.........i was lucky enough to get to go to the Packer Bear game at Lambeau last season. The first regular season game i have been at between the two rivals. Even though the Bears won, i had a BLAST! The very first LIVE Packer game i saw was in 1970 at Milwaukee County Stadium, against the Bears. It was preseason, and ended in a 6-6 tie! I didn't realize you were in Oregon! How did you become a Bears fan? You FROM Illinois?

That's great that you got to see the Bears and packers play live.
I have been a "die hard" Walter Payton fan since I was a little kid he is what drew me to the Bears essentially. when I was a kid I also used to like to watch Tony Dorsett run, but I have no love for the Cowgirls(Man I hated the 90's but atleast it wasn't another 49ers dynasty).
There's no chance of me rooting for the Packers, but at least when it comes to team preference we can agree to disagree. My neighbor is a die-hard Packers fan and she got me into Fantasy football for the first time this season. It was funny for the rest of our FF league, seeing my neighbor and I show up at our FF draft together, her in her Favre jersey and me in my Urlacher jersey. Good rival stuff.

Payton was a CLASS act! When he would tear through the Packer defense, i COULDN'T hate the guy, he was too nice! It was a shame he passed so young.
I remember the days of Ditka and Gregg as coaches,......they HATED each other, and would tell their players to cheap shot the other team. Those guys should have met in a back alley and duked it out!!! :lol:

I like the packers but I think wisconsin is ugly myself and I hate it. Michigan is an awesome state. We will lift a bridge across so you people that live in wisconsin can come to Michigan. :lol:

Lower michigan is gods country. Wisconsin is ugly, GB isnt that nice compared to traverse city, lansing, and grand rapids. Milwaukee is a dump. I live 3 hours from Detroit and it isnt half as bad as people make it out to be. The suburbs are beautiful. Milwaukee on the other hand. Lower michigan is alot warmer than wisconsin also. Yes I have been to wisconsin many times, just there 2 months ago.
