Why would you want Favre to get out of town? 7 ints and 2 TDs for the bears. Plus, a year older. I am hoping that he sticks around for a few more good (ie Bear wins) years.

Losing Walker was HUGE for the Pack. Beyond that, they lost Green who was doing nothing. Gado did much better than Green. OLine lost Flanagan for a couple games. 4th string receiver out. D was pretty healthy. (Others???)

Bears lost starting QB. #2 RB out half season. OLine was rotating every week. 2nd receiver out. Last 4 games was musical chairs at safety. Hunter (SAM) had broken hand for 3-4 games. Bears had injuries also.

Injuries not big excuse.

I love it how Bears fans come on and brag about their team after ONE good season, in which they got bumped out of the playoffs in their first game anyway. Face it-the Bears still suck!

No matter who the Bears trot out there at QB, sucks.

You're #2 back was out for half the season. So was Najeh Davenport. The Packers did more shuffling on the line than the Bears did. Our first and fourth receivers got injured and knocked out for the season. Our third receiver missed significant time. Our best OLB missed most of the season. Our other starting OLB missed the last handful of games with an injury as well.

Brett has owned the Bears. He is one of the best QB's of all time.

I still really hope that he come back next year. I think that the 'fire' you are talking about is just about out.

You can't count the defecator (Davenport) as injured. He has been hurt as much as Fragilsaurus Rex...
